"This 2 bdrm condo is in a very nice location. It is a very short block away from the ocean, about a 20-25 min walk from town and shopping, 20-25 min walk to red rock coffee shop(the best coffee) and 5-10 min walk from a good take out(promiscuous fork). We hardly drove anywhere except to explore furthur afield, i.e. San diego, La Jolla shores, UCSB, and the Torrey Pines reserve where there was some wonderful hiking and spectacular views.
The owner of the condo and property manager were both available by phone if needed. Michael, the property manager had left me a message to inform me that the condo was ready early and we could move in before the arranged arrival time. He also checked in with us to make sure everything was fine at the beginning of our stay. When i did call Michael with a question, he returned my call promptly and it was a pleasure having such an attentive person to deal with. Karl the owner was also available if needed---- and I appreciated his returning the damage deposit the next day. There are times when I have stayed at other vrbo's and have had to enquire about the refund after a few weeks have passed and I have heard nothing from the owner.
The condo is as portrayed, two bedrooms each with its own washroom. Beds are comfortable, condo is clean and nicely presented. There are bikes in the garage for use as well as laundry facilities. Although we had 3-4 days of rain during our stay, we were cozy in the condo and when it did clear for a while, we would go down to the water to watch the surf and beautiful sunsets. There is a lovely view of the water while sitting on the balcony too. Unfortunately, the
weather was not too cooperative and we did not get to use the lovely private patio which is accessed from both bedrooms. This is where the bbq and patio table are--and if it had been warmer, it would be a great spot for a glass of wine, book, dinner etc.
We would definitely return to this property but maybe not the first week of January."
