  • Cute cottage

"The cottage was quite and had a perfect location for the beach. It was also walking distance to shops and restaurants. Hulu and Netflix were available but the wifi wasn't strong enough to be able to use them."

  • Quentissential OB Home

"Thank you Silka, your house was perfect for our family gathering. The floorplan with its indoor and outdoor space was great for entertaining. Your home is clean, comfortable and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The location is ideal for taking advantage of all that OB has to offer. We would definitely return."

  • Fantastic stay at this well-appointed beach house

"I just finished up a 10 day vacation with my 5 year old daughter at this wonderful beach house. The house was clean, bright with sunshine and had everything we needed for our stay. Ocean Beach is a great little town with great local flavor and close to freeways and San Diego attractions like the SD Zoo, Sea World, Old Town, beaches and restaurants. Highly recommended and pictures of the property are highly accurate. I'll definitely consider a second stay."

  • Tidy, very clean, modern and relaxing room with a very nice view! Excellent owner communication.

"This was a weekend get away for us. The house is located in the heart of the neighborhood and has a designated parking spot (which seems to be the achilles heel of San Diego) for your car. Kent quickly met us at the gate and showed us around the grounds. The deck spans the width of the house which displays a really nice view of Ocean Beach. The entire living area is an open floor plan (other than the bathroom). The room is smartly outfitted with a sitting area of two chairs with a coffee table, with the bedroom area containing a large flat screened tv equipped with dvd player. We asked Kent for a some recommendations for places to eat & bars close by and he gave us a great list. The decorating & the attention to detail was really evident in the house from the updated flooring, to the exposed wooden beams, nice upgraded closets (furnished with extra towels and pillows) nice tile work in the bathroom & kitchen and window coverings. We appreciated the fruit, soda, wine, water & local beer that were available to us in the kitchen. The kitchen has a sink, toaster oven, gas stop stove, microwave and stainless steel fridge. A small coffee maker and every utensil you possibly would need is available for your use. There was never a time I felt like I needed a thing other than a lighter blanket which Kent quickly brought me when I asked him. The deck has two chairs to hang out and relax in and a small table w chairs for three with an umbrella if you choose to eat outside and enjoy the view. Lights are strung on the railing to create an ambience of relaxation at night. There are sets of patio doors that all swing open along the length of the deck allowing the air to just calmly come into the room making it a very relaxing atmosphere. On Saturday night we chose to walk towards the beach area. It is a nice walk through a very nice and quiet neighborhood. I do not remember exactly how long of a walk, but I will guess close to 1 mile. The walk back is a little more challenging at points because you are walking back up the hills, but if you are use to any kind of walking it isn't too bad. The scenes at the pier and beach are amazing and beautiful. I would highly recommend making sure to spend time out on the water before you leave San Diego. On Sunday we drove down into the area and found a small place to eat breakfast. We certainly would not shy away from coming back to this property the next time we are in San Diego! Thanks guys!"
