  • Excellent

"After working all year we wanted to chill out by the beach. Mikki's place was perfect for relaxing by the beach and on the patio with the family. The weather was awesome, we would book her place again when we visit San Diego."

  • Perfect Beach House and Awesome Mgmt

"We stayed at this property last week as part of a company retreat and the house was absolutely perfect. The entire ocean-facing side of the 2nd floor living area opens up with sliding glass doors so you feel like you are literally on the water. Bedrooms & bathrooms were all great & appeared to be newly remodeled. Kitchen was amazing and perhaps the most well-stocked kitchen we've experienced at a rental (made it really easy to cook group meals, etc.). Rooftop deck and balcony were just the icing on the cake. Location is wonderful, right on the beach and easy walk to shops & restaurants in the neighborhood. Last but not least, Courtney (the property manager) could not have been more wonderful or easy to work with. She went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of during our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone without hesitation and hope to return again sometime!"

  • Excellent stay

"This is a great rental for families. My Family of 5 stayed here comfortably. Kids ages 2,4 and 6 had a wonderful time. The unit was very clean and well stocked. The unit has numerous beach towels, chairs and beach toys for the kids, so you don't have to buy or bring any. The kids played often on the bay side beach, that has no waves. We rented bikes from close by and used them frequently. The ocean side beach is merely two blocks away. After the first day we rode our rented bikes. The location of the unit is perfect, no trouble getting to Legoland, the zoo or whale watching. During the summer Sea World has fireworks that we watched from the patio. The one small issue is that you can hear the people upstairs walking around and you hear voices at night in the master from people walking on the boardwalk. Otherwise it was perfect. The unit has great air-conditioning when needed and a washer and dryer. Last but not least, the unit has an enclosed garage and an outside parking spot. We parked the bikes in the garage and the minivan in the outside spot. We would definitely rent this property again. The property manager Shirl is super helpful and responsive to all of your needs."

  • A home from home. We were not disappointed.

"This was our first visit to San Diego. Family of 5 from the UK. First Two weeks in August 2016 I was very careful to checkout all the Accommodation in the Mission Bay area which was in my price range. Reading the reviews and cruising the area on Google Street View. In response to previous reviews. I can say the two sofas in the living room have been replaced with a very nice new leather corner sofa and all the bedding and towels were clean and fresh. Read the instructions provided by the owner. Very useful for the cable TV. Both TV and Cable can be controlled by one controller. In addition to the ceiling fans all the rooms had an additional fan. We visited the first two weeks in August and AC wasn’t required. The high ceiling in the living room, opening the screened windows and turning on fans kept the place cool enough for us. Good communication with the owner. I can say that the owner wants you to have a good experience so don’t hesitate to contact them with regards to any minor issues no matter how trivial you think it is. This property is perfect. Away for the busy Belmont Park area so you have plenty of room on whichever beach you choose. Bay or ocean. The ocean side beach was brilliant for surfing and body boarding. The Bay side was great for water sports. Eating out. These are the places where we ate out. All were good. BREAKFAST - The Mission. Ocean Beach Pier café. LUNCH and DINNER- Saska’s Steak and Seafood, The Corvette Diner (You’ll need to drive ), Jimmy’s Famous American Tavern (You’ll need to drive) Good for brunch. TAKE OUT-The Rubicon Deli. (You must try the sandwiches from here) Super markets.Trader Joes, Von’s and Ralph’s are all a short drive away. Ralphs is close enough to walk to. Summary If you are looking for a holiday home which is honest to the pictures and is in a great locations for families. This is it. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the owner and this property. It met all our expectations and we all had a fantastic time."
