  • Great location, quiet, well-equipped.

"Location is ideal - we walked to Balboa park easily. Well stocked kitchen; we had everything we needed for our breakfasts and dinners. Small problem with the Blue-Ray player but otherwise the owner/managers are quick to resolve any trouble that emerges. Would definitely stay here again. Clean, quiet, beautiful setting and furnishings."

  • Cannot go wrong here...

"Despite what was probably the worst weather weekend in SD in years, this property made all seem ok. Super comfortable, yet elegant, property. Easiest rental check-in/out experience I've ever had. I'll be happy to rent this location again and again!"

  • Gorgeous and convenient!

"This property is perfect in aesthetics and location! We didn't have great weather, so we unfortunately were not able to enjoy the outdoor space as much as we would have loved to because the patios and views were amazing! The location is great for downtown, Balboa Park, the zoo, the airport, etc.! We will try to rent this space anytime we stay in San Diego!"

  • Great location, Close to Everything!

"We just returned from five days here, and we had a wonderful time! The home was just as pictured (aside from there being a washer/drier in the space at the end of the kitchen). The beds were very comfortable, and we all slept great! We were pleasantly surprised to find a pack and play, portable high chair, lots of beach toys, and beach towels in storage. It is in a historic district, and there are little friendly suggestion notes on the walls about water usage, as well as requests to keep it down after 9pm (which wasn't a problem for us, as our kids go to bed by 8pm). It is very close to the airport, and the planes fly right over the deck, which was great fun for our little boys, ages 5 and 3. With the windows closed at night, this didn't cause any issues with sound, however. We all slept great! The place is a 10-15 minute drive to most attractions in San Diego, which was a huge plus for us. We had no issues whatsoever finding the place (with GPS, of course), although we did occasionally have to circle the block a time or two to find a place to park - especially on the weekends. We always found something within a block, but when they note that parking is first-come, first-serve, it's unlikely there's much more than one space available most of the time. Very minor inconveniences to us were the length of the door lock code (9 digits), which we had to look up on our phones every time we wanted to get inside. Also, there were very very few kitchen towels (only 2 that we could find). We ended up eating out a lot, being on vacation and all, but I typically cook a lot, and if I had decided to do so on this trip, we would have had to do at least 2 loads of laundry to get through the week. There were also no dish cloths (although there was a brush) that we could find, which we usually would use to wipe down surfaces. Overall, this was a really great property for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there! We would definitely recommend it!"
