  • Mission Bay Cottage...Perfect!

"The MBC was perfect in location and needs for our stay in October! It was close to family we were visiting which was very important and centrally located to all that San Diego has to offer so we could enjoy day trips. The cottage itself had all the amenities we required. We were able to have some of our meals in rather than having to go out to restaurants; WIFI was spot on for days when I had to work; the patio outside afforded us the ability to sit and enjoy the sun during the day. The owners respected our privacy but were available had we needed their services. I would rent the Mission Bay Cottage again on a return trip!"

  • Charming Cottage in a great neighborhood

"We very much enjoyed this nicely appointed cottage. Breakfast on the back patio was s great way to start the day. The cottage had everything we needed with lots of great decorator touchs. Beds were very comfortable. Took advantage of the walkable restaurants and pub. Even a great bottle shop. Would definitely stay again."

  • Nice sized house with an enclosed yard

"The house was more than suitable for my needs. Great location, there are plenty of good restaurants within a short distance. If you need to get around San Diego, this property is easy access to the Interstate and major highways. The rental unit is the back half of duplex-type structure with an added bonus of having the bedrooms/bathroom on a second level, with no adjoining walls so there is no noise, etc. (the downstairs is real quiet also but I've lived in a house for so long that any noise gets my attention). The kitchen has the basics, but then I rarely prepared anything but breakfast. Overall, it's a lovely property, fairly priced for that area"

  • Pefect place in SD for our family of 4

"We used customer reviews exclusively when we decided to book this property. The multiple positive reviews paint a very accurate description of this 2 bedroom unit. We never had difficulty finding on-street parking for our minivan, even on New Year's Eve. The house is situated in a cozy, cute, peaceful neighborhood tucked behind a trendy little street of bars and restaurants in University Heights. 2 minutes of walking had me bringing home a variety of delicious take-out food (we have young children) and less than 10 minutes of driving had us at Balboa Park and the Zoo. The park that is a few steps down the street had a great variety of swings, slides, and climbing to let the kids burn off some energy before nap-time or bed. Also, and this is not a joke, we saw people taking their rabbits and cats for walks (on leashes). SD is full of quirkiness that is so much fun! I don't know if it was mentioned in other reviews, but one pleasant surprise was how much attention was paid for making the house compatible for our 2 year old. The folding crib, high chair, plastic dishes and cups, and AC outlet covers were really nice touches. The owners are friendly and helpful and really made us feel welcome. We are hoping to return to this property again. One more thing: If you are a coffee-person you will probably want to check out Twigg's Coffee (a 2 minute walk away). It reminds me of the "not-Starbucks" coffee shops from Seattle in the late 90s."
