  • Quaint, comfortable, quiet

"We very much enjoyed our stay and appreciated the quirkiness of the house. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into ensuring we had everything we needed and more. This is a perfect location for visiting the city - it's central to all of the "must sees" in San Diego. I would definitely recommend it to others."

  • Very comfortable place and great location!

"My husband and I are from Massachusetts and recently visited San Diego to spend time with family there. This unit was very comfortable, clean and had many items needed to make our stay enjoyable. Lisa was very responsive when we called with questions. I loved having the washer and dryer in the garage and going home with clean clothes! This unit was right on the ocean on a high cliff where we watched beautiful sunsets and watched the boats go by. It had a very nice patio, the downside was that it was shared by other tenants and there weren't any privacy panels. The cooking area/grill was also shared so you may have to coordinate cooking times if you want to use it. The area was very nice, a few blocks from the beach, pier and shopping but close enough to walk and enjoy the beautiful weather. We visited the farmers market while there and picked up some delicious fruit, salsa and homemade chips. When my husband realized he left his charger plugged in, Lisa offered to leave it outside her home so our family member could pick it up. My husband got it back within a few days of leaving. I can't take the credit for selecting Tom and Lisa's place, but do thank my son for making a fine choice."

  • Great Stay at Dog Beach!

"This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this property. The first time was 4 years ago. I am happy to report that it was just a great this time as the last time! We were welcomed with a wonderful bottle of wine as well as doggie and people treats! The property was super clean and we enjoyed our privacy here. The best part of this property is that it is super dog friendly. There are doggie beds for your use, a couch cover so the pups can sit with the people (because we all know they do!), doggie bowls, doggie toys and even doggie beach towels. Everything is stocked well in this property, so you shouldn't want for anything. Vons is maybe 1.5 miles away, freeway access is very close and the fireworks at SeaWorld are very visible and awesome Thursday through Sunday. Just stand on the bike path right outside your gate and you have the best seat in the house! Thanks Amy for making our vacation as great as it was the last time (except for the emergency appendectomy my son decided to go through while on our vacation!) We will recommend this property again and again. Best, The Neil Family Lake Tahoe, NV"

  • Relaxing on the Cliffs

"It has all been said by previous reviews. We were 6 adults and 4 children (aged between 3 and 8) staying in Mid-February. We had great weather so the front deck was in full use for the magnificent sunsets whilst sipping Sonoma County’s best Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs. The descriptions of the house are accurate and it was ideal for families. Our days were walks on the cliffs, beach, lunch out, pool and Jacuzzi (both well heated) with bar-b-ques or cooking indoors for dinner followed by star wars movies. The kids were happy and the adults were very relaxed. The property is very well located for grocery shopping (Vons or Trader Joes) or San Diego’s main attractions. We had the theme parks/zoo etc. in reserve but did not use them as everyone wanted to spend time in the property. Quite often the adults were rooted next to one of the picture windows just gazing at the view – it was mesmerizing! Parking in the back was excellent for 3 cars, especially as the front was very busy with surfers parking. It was easy packing and unpacking cars through the two back gates. The house was well equipped and had the bonus of plenty of beach towels. As Arnold once said “I’ll be back”."
