  • Amazing Property With Even Better Hosts

"I can not stress enough how amazing this property is! First of all the view is something you will find yourself taking pictures of day and night due to its beauty. The actual rental is a nice sized well equipped mini apartment with anything and everything you may need (including some wine supplied by Dave and Toni). These hosts clearly know how to create a warm and welcoming environment as they stock the apartment with everything you may need and they also are quick to come down and offer any assistance and recommendations which my girlfriend and I found to be super useful. The area is very quiet and safe and everything is either walkable or a $5-15 uber ride away which was super convenient. When we come back to San Diego, this is absolutely going to be our first choice again. Thanks so much Dave and Toni you made our trip amazing!"

  • Great home & hospitable owners

"This home was perfect for our family of 6. Room to spread out. Fabulous for outdoor entertainment (we invited our local friends for dinner because the yard and basketball court/hot tub was perfect for adults to relax and kids to play in the background). House was FULLY stocked with anything you might need: towels, beach gear, basketball, soccerball, games, every kitchen gadget imaginable, and quite a collection of spices and essentials help prep the perfect meals. We only ate 1 meal out because the set-up was perfect. I think they had dished/utensils for 16+ people because we could eat snacks, dinner and breakfast THEN run dishwasher- unusual for a rental. Home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to Peet's Coffee, frozen yogurt and a soon-to-open grocery store. Owner promptly responded via text with a few questions we had during our stay. Great communication leading up to our visit as well. They take good care of their home and do everything possible to ensure you enjoy your stay. Highly recommended!"

  • It's all about the view

"This condo was just as the photos indicated with a fabulous view of the water. The boats are fun and relaxing to watch. We enjoyed our stay. The condo is well appointed with furniture and the kitchen made me feel right at home where we were able to prepare meals with ease. Two rooms and baths were perfect for us. It was a bit warmer than usual for the area so we had the sliding doors and windows open most of the time since there is no a/c. This did bring more noise into the condo as it is on the end of the blvd and right on the drive into/out of the parking lot for the beach. The other noise I'll mention that I did not see in previous posts was the air traffic. While we were there the take off path from the SD airport most days was right over mission bay so right over the condo. The flight path did change once in awhile but most of the time it was over the condo. If the doors were closed you did not hear it; with the temperature the doors were open and the cross breezes easily cooled off the condo. The building is quite secure with most areas under lock or code access, even the garbage area. The owner is easily available by email and we had one issue with the door lock sticking and a TV not working that she took care of promptly. As previously mentioned 2 parking spots are provided but one isn't really a size any car could fit especially if the other condo parking spot had a car in it. It is quite nice to have reserved parking since the other parking options are rarely open nearby and only one public lot nearby allows overnight parking. Walking to Belmont Park and the beach was very easy; driving out of the area could take awhile during popular times but travel for the most part was easy. We found we left the area by car for dinners as the places in Belmont Park were limited. Overall, very nice area to stay with excellent beach access. The condo is well maintained and appointed for a relaxing beach stay. Thank you for letting us use it for our stay."

  • Perfect location, charming town home

"We really enjoyed our short stay! The town home was an easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. I loved how the bedrooms were located upstairs (very convenient for when we would put our 4 year old to bed and we adults could stay up to visit). The remodel that was done was very lovely and functional. Plus, it was impeccably clean. We had no issue with the construction that was going on next door as they didn't start work until mid-morning. The owner was able to welcome us, give a walk through, answer questions about La Jolla, and gave some really good restaurant recommendations. Thank you, Bryan!"
