"We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo is very modern with beautiful amenities and is quite comfortable. Mariam the owner's niece bent over backward to make sure we had everything we needed and was available for any questions. A brief walk takes you to an overlook of the ocean but its a long staircase to get down to the sand from the perch. Very nice condo association. Quiet area which is nice but you can drive to Whole Foods and lots of other places nearby."

  • Lovely garden retreat

"We had a super time staying at Quinn Cottage. The cottage was clean and well looked after, just as described and well equipped with everything we needed. The gardens were wonderful and we really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and enjoying the amazing views of San Diego. Jeff and Mary were quick to respond when we got in touch and provided lots of tips on things to see and do - we loved La Jolla, Cabrillo Point, eating Mexican food in the Old Town and the beach at Coronado. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"Thank you so much for sharing your vacation home with our family! It was a great big home for our large family! A special thank you to Linda for all you do and for rescuing my wedding dress after we accidentally locked it in the house!! Thank you The Jenkins Family ❤️"

  • Fit our desire to be at the beach perfectly!

"After reading the reviews of previous renters - we were intrigued by the opportunity to see homeless people sleeping at a public beach. That's not something we regularly experience in our day to day life. We were so disappointed that in a week there were only two occasions and it didn't impact our vacation in any way. Ok, just kinda poking fun at a few reviews about the homeless sleeping on the beach in full view of the condo. As if there is anything that the owners could do about that! It's a beach town people! There are transients because the beautiful weather makes it easy to live outside in an expensive city! They minded their own business and it made it easy for us to give our leftover food to someone when it was time to leave. I used to live in San Diego so was very familiar with the area. Having an assigned parking space was an absolute must when searching for a place at the beach. It was a bonus that it was in a gated and shaded area. While we never made the time to use the bikes that were available - that was a cool perk, too. The weather was perfect and the facilities were clean and convenient. Lots of eating and shopping options within walking distance. Stairs down to the beach right outside the building. Incredible view. Comfy bed. Not so comfy (to sleep on) futon couches. Plenty of linens. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom (including new soap, shampoo/conditioner, sponges). Great cross breeze from open window in living room with the screen door and open bedroom window. The unit is 2nd to the end of the hallway - only one other unit would walk by the window (saw a review complaining about that - really not an issue, there are vertical blinds over the window, too). It was awesome to constantly hear the ocean waves. It's obvious the owners really take pride in their condo and want the guests to have a great experience. We had great communication throughout the rental process. We absolutely would choose to rent this place again and recommend to others."
