  • Wonderful, spacious condo with all the amenities!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very surprised at the spacious size of the bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped with cookware (bring your own spices, oils, etc) and updated appliances. The VIZIO TV was great for our kids - we could log into our Netflix and Amazon accounts and pull up our favorite shows and movies. The hot tub and pool are just a short walk away. Easily our favorite VRBO rental so far."

  • Three bedroom condo ideal for family and guests

"I just returned from another delightful month stay at Maureen's condo in Solana Beach at Sea Scape Sur. Fortunately I have already signed up to return next year. The three bedroom layout is perfect for visiting family and guests. Due to the open concept centered around a well equipped kitchen, and spacious dinning and living room, preparing and sharing a meal is a delight. The sunny, large, master suite with private bath and dual sinks provides a private retreat. The condo's shady flower filled deck is ideal for reading and grilling. The owner was gracious and welcoming and had the residence ship shape upon arrival. Sea Scape Sur sits above a beach walking expanse stretching for miles. Flowers fill the complex along with pools and tennis courts. Two garage parking spots are part of the rental but I found public transportation and walking took me everywhere I needed to go."

  • Great vacation!

"Our family of four stayed at this property during our vacation to the San Diego area June 12-17. The condo met every need we had...clean and comfortable and in a great location! The condo complex is on the older side but it's well maintained and easy to navigate. We got good use of the kitchen for breakfast each morning. The fridge is make your own cubes so if you have a larger group, make plans for ice. We went to the local Von's the evening we arrived to stock up on drinks, snacks and breakfast stuff. Day 1 was spent up the road in Carlsbad at LEGOLAND...20 min drive from the condo. Nice park and the kids loved it. Day 2 we drove to San Diego to visit the zoo and take a harbor tour via boat...roughly 30 min drive. Highly recommend both...the zoo is everything you've heard and the boat tour was great. The booth to buy tickets for the harbour tour is near the USS Midway on the boardwalk. TIP - buy a 2-day San Diego Go Pass. The pass includes admission to LEGOLAND, the zoo and the boat tour. We saved $$ hundreds buy purchasing the cards instead of individual tickets to each attraction. Day 3 we headed to Anaheim and did Disneyland. Can't use the Go Pass for Disney so be prepared to pay $100 per ticket...no biggie...it's Disneyland and it's a memorable time for the family. Drive was an hour each way but seemed to go by fast. We set aside Day 4 for a beach day since we knew we'd want a day to chill before heading home. We drove five minutes north on Hwy 101 to the Cardiff-by-the-Sea Beach State Park. Used the cooler provided in the condo along with the chairs and boogie boards. Water temp was 68 but didn't phase the kids. Spent the afternoon in the surf, playing Frisbee and walking the shoreline. It was a great afternoon. For dinners we went to Jake's in Del Mar twice (the first and last nights). Highly recommend. Great food and be sure to save room for Hula Pie. Also a great spot for sunset pictures. We did Pizza Port in Solana Beach night 2. Great pizza joint...almost a "dive" feel but cool for parents and kids. Great craft beer selection and the pizza was top notch. Day 3 we ate at the famous Hodad's for burgers in downtown Ocean Beach. The line out the door meant a 30 minute wait but it moves. Once inside we were glad we stuck around. Awesome burgers. Day 4 on the way back from Disneyland we had tex-mex in Carlsbad at Las Olas on Hwy 101. Get a burrito and a couple margaritas on the rocks...you'll be glad you did."

  • A wonderful place to stay on your vacation!

"We just had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful property. The condo set up was both spacious and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is very well maintained and clean. Susie and Tim were extremely helpful and responded to any questions very promptly. Now let's talk about location. The views from the windows and very large balcony are nothing less than spectacular. The sunsets are incredible and the beautiful ocean breeze is a refreshing change from the cold weather in New Jersey. It's just a very short walk to the beach by road or path. The path was my favorite way to get there because you travel through a garden with the beach next to you on top of the bluff. There are benches there so you can just enjoy the view. Also, the view of the cliffs from the beach is definitely something to see. During our visit we also visited the San Diego Zoo, Sunset Cliffs, LaJolla Beach with the remarkable seals all of which were a short drive away. Near the condo were plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants a wonderful California experience and I look forward to staying here again."
