  • Great Cottage!

"We enjoyed a week in this beach getaway. There are two good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen has been recently redone and has all the amenities. The decks are great living spaces and from the front deck you can see waves! There is a small neighborhood grocery store about a block and a half away for all those things you will forget! We loved the location. It is a sidewalk access away from the beach but, is a nice quiet location. The parking is easy and accessable. Don't forget to visit Olive's bakery while you are here. Their cinnamon buns are to die for! We will happily visit the 'Mission Beach Cottage' again!"

"Delightfully comfortable and private hideaway one block from the park and within walking distance of restaurants. we have a history with this apartment - parents lived here for 18 years and the new owner has made incredible improvements. We cannot wait to return!!"

  • Fabulous!

"Everything was perfect and just as described. Plenty of beach chairs and canopy for those lazy days of summer. The down side was having to leave...1 week is just not long enough. Highly recomend renting from Terry and Tom."

  • Great location and amenities!

"We're a family of five with three small boys, and almost passed on this cottage due to concerns that it might not be big enough, but are so happy we booked it. Being so close to both the beach and the bay made our trip. If we were getting too beat up by the waves at the beach we'd make the two-minute walk to the bay (which is a paddleboarder's dream). Corey was super-responsive and provided everything our family needed for our vacation. There are boogie boards, beach toys and towels, chairs, etc. I think the best were the bikes he keeps at the house; cruising along the beach was a highlight of our trip. And, if there's anything else you might want you can rent it from the shop right across the street. There's also a blow up matress and a pack-and-play, so each of us had planty of space to sleep. One other concern we had based on previous reviews was its location right on Mission Blvd. And while it can get a bit noisy (especially on weekends), it wasn't anything dramatic or that ear plugs couldn't solve (we didn't use them and slept just fine). Finally, having dedicated parking in back of the house was HUGE. We had no idea what a mess parking can be, so to not have to worry about that was worth staying here in and of itself. If we ever come back we'll stay here in a heartbeat."
