  • Centralized Location, All the Amenities

"Two parents, three kids, and a baby: everyone agrees it was the perfect match for our needs. A short walk to the beach, a short drive to the zoo. The house is very comfortable, feels like a home away from home. The ONLY thing I would recommend to visitors is to bring your own gallon of water. Rite-Aid up the street has a $0.35/gallon fill station. Other than the tap water, we had no complaints. Would highly recommend this place for rental!!"

  • Very relaxing and overall a great place to be!

"First, it is a VERY clean resort with a friendly staff - but after traveling five (5) hours, our room was not ready. The staff gave us a $50 gift card to go eat pizza and after our car trip all we wanted to do was get in our room. It was a nice gesture and we had to wait until almost 5 PM for our room to be readied. The staff gave us nightly calls asking if we needed anything, how was our stay, and can we sit-in on a presentation - they'll spring for breakfast - but we only wanted to rest and not do too much. We went to Sea World for the day - a great trip - hit the beach - walked the pier - and also the Farmer's Market day and night. That was just great with the different booths. The idea was for us (who are primarily teachers) to rest and relax - but there was a few things that did not make it a perfect trip. Some of the guests couldn't refrain from smoking and thought they could get away smoking on their balcony - smoke drifts up and into our balcony and room. Also, the TRAIN - day and night those engineers honked their horns coming and going. I think being in the North Tower we were exposed to the noise more - but my son and his wife overlooked the pool and said they hardly heard it. NEXT time we are going to request a room that overlooks the pool. All in all, a VERY nice time with a courteous staff and next time I still will NOT sit in on a presentation - been there done that and nothing is free. Thank you Wyndham Oceanside Resort for a very nice and relaxing vacation. I hope to see you again next year! One more thing - I would have given it FIVE stars, but that train was too much!"

  • Amazing views, well kept home, comfortable

"My family decided to meet for a memory making vacation for my mom's 70th birthday, and we are definitely glad we chose this location. There were 7 of us, including 2 kids, and we all had a wonderful time. The grounds are so inviting and relaxing even my husband who usually wants to get out and sightsee every moment could barely bring himself to leave the amazing pool and terrific views. Above all else the hosts were so gracious and so accommodating, and very accessible when we needed to contact them. THe location is perfect and we were able to visit a winery, Disneyland, and take a tour of downtown San Diego during our stay with ease. The kids loved the water slide (not gonna lie, I did too!) and the play area. A big thank you to Joel and Prima for being such gracious hosts, you helped make my mom's birthday very special and we appreciate it so much."
