  • Quaint, comfortable, quiet

"We very much enjoyed our stay and appreciated the quirkiness of the house. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into ensuring we had everything we needed and more. This is a perfect location for visiting the city - it's central to all of the "must sees" in San Diego. I would definitely recommend it to others."

  • Nice big, open loft, great location, needs a few items fixed, but I'd stay there again.

"My family and I stayed at this property for a week for a work conference. The location couldn't be better for a downtown, gas-lamp experience. Very close to the convention center (like a 10 minute walk, if that). I really liked the location, the parking, the private patio and locked entrance. The loft itself is very roomy. We were a family of four (and our golden retriever), and all of us had plenty of room. The free wifi was nice, and so was the kitchen. I would recommend staying here and I would definitely do so again. Pretty much what others have said about this property is dead on. The good and the bad. The upstairs unit can be very loud whenever anyone walks up there. we lucked out and really only had one night where the upstairs neighbors were loud. My only other suggestion is this property my need a few updates. Its obvious that the furnishings were bought mostly at Ikea, and some show signs of being heavily used and may need to be retired. We noticed a DVD player, so one night we rented a few movies to watch. Not a big deal but the DVD player doesn't work. My biggest suggestion is the place need a few ceiling fans to circulate the air flow better. I never could figure out the the high tech thermostat, which was mostly set at 78, and the bedroom was pretty stuffy. All in all, this place is great, and the location is ideal. Ira, the owner is a pleasure to deal with."

  • Fantastic Escondido Vacation Home

"This was our second family reunion at Sharon's fantastic vacation home. Our family so enjoyed our time two years ago, all they talked about since then was returning. Three master bedrooms, one for each couple - triplet boys and their wives - and a king master suite for us. A cottage where our 6 grandkids slept. This property has everything you could imagine; pool, spa, outdoor bar and barbecue, fire pit area, outdoor dining, a huge kitchen and living room, a huge garage where the kids played ping pong and shot baskets and just a great view from high on the hill. Sharon's home is stocked with anything you could need in a vacation home, just bring your own food and drinks. One of our grandkids said she wants our families to buy it so we live in it, Nana, Grampy and Auntie to home school and her father and uncles fine a job! We will be back again in two years. Thanks again Sharon for your great hospitality,"
