  • Great Accommodations

"Stayed at the Cowell Beach House for a long weekend for Santa Cruz 70.3 triathlon, what a great place! We were very happy with the accommodations and the location of the house. The house was immaculate! And the location was fantastic! 3-4 blocks and we were at the beach/wharf. Great place, would stay here again next time I’m in town."

  • Really enjoyed our stay in charming, relaxing home with great views.

"We spent six nights here and had a great time. Owner very easy to communicate/deal with. Views were great and we were lucky with the weather with only one day of fog obscuring the views. Yes the freeway noise does clash with the crashing of the waves but it wasn't really an issue for us and no noise/very peaceful inside at night with windows closed. Neighbouring trees beginning to impede some views but again not an issue for us. House is spacious with lots of open space and natural light. We found it charming/quirky, comfortable and very relaxing. Kitchen/dining/living area a lovely room and we liked the layout given that we had 3 teenagers with us who each got their own room/space/privacy (and were happy with the WiFi & Netflix) but were all just off the main living area. Also really liked the privacy/location of the house which is not cut-off but in what seems a quiet neighbourhood where we felt very safe. The steep driveway could have been a challenge for me but it wasn't for my husband! Location just 20 minutes drive from San Francisco was a huge plus for us. The house is clearly a well lived in and loved family home with lots of personal items and artwork. It was clean, no sign of insects though yes it could do with some DIY here and there. The oven/pilot light being on all the time was a slight concern given that it is gas and the teenagers would have liked blinds in their bedrooms (didn't stop them sleeping very well). Yes outdoor/yard could also do with some work but our 2 boys enjoyed playing with the rebound net and your attention is focused on the great views when you go outdoors anyway - the deck area was lovely and outdoor furniture was fine. All in all we really enjoyed our stay in this house."

  • Fantastic Home!

"Thank you Tim & Naomi for allowing us to stay in your beautiful and very comfortable home! The house had everything we needed and more, especially the kitchen and pantry staples. There were 6 adults in our party; we all loved the open kitchen and family area that looked out onto your beautiful yard and creek. The house was amazing; updated, clean and very comfortable. We cooked dinner two nights and enjoyed the lighted backyard cabana afterward as well as the spa. We loved every minute and would be happy to recommend your property to anyone. Thank you again! (Best of all the location was perfect, situated only 2 minutes from Landmark and Chateau St Jean wineries - you're in a beautiful neighborhood! And you're right - Landmark was a fun, relaxing place to play corn hole and bocce during cocktail hour. You also recommended The Star in Glen Ellen, which was our favorite meal - thx!)"

  • Charming house & beautiful outdoor space! Perfect for a wine country getaway

"We had 7 of us staying in this house, and it was a perfect size (thanks to the king futon!). We also brought our dogs, who enjoyed laying in the sun in the backyard while we grilled. Extra plus that the grill was propane, and the hot tub was clean and in working order. The location was great too -- we were able to taxi into town for around $10, and the Safeway was a quick drive away. All in all, it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend the Belle Moons Olive House!"
