  • Light Airy Retreat with View and Near Bountiful Outdoor Activities

"Upon first glance, we were thrilled. The view as you descend onto the deck was incredible; we could see all the way down the coastline to the city. The open floor plan and giant windows allowed that gorgeous view to frame a light and airy living space. The decor is casual, tasteful, clean and new. We slipped into a relaxing vacation mode with a glass of wine on the deck and watched birds and bountiful butterflies. The sun was shining onto the deck and into the house and a there was a soft coastal breeze. When it came time to cook, we were pleased to find a kitchen stocked with all the pans, glasses, utensils we would need and even some staples and condiments. The generosity of the owner was apparent. The bedrooms kept with the same light, airy feel as the upstairs. The beds were cozy and the bathrooms clean. We had an event at the Pelican Inn, which is a short drive, but did not want to leave the Coastal Home. Although we didn't have time to walk the trail to the beach, we drove down to the main beach for a refreshing swim and a fantastic hike up a trail to look over the cove and ocean. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time. Thank you!"

  • So peaceful

"We had a wonderful stay in this VRBO in Mill Valley. Perfectly set up for our 2 day stay. In fact, perfectly set up to live in full time! Very quiet with a wonderful deck and view. We even had a deer wander through the back yard at one point. An easy enjoyable walk to downtown as long as you don't mind some stairs. Would have changed nothing about our stay. Perfect!"

  • Gorgeous little houseboat with heaps of character

"Loved our stay... we used to sit on the little deck and watch the comings and goings of boats and seals... Good restaurants within walking distance and bus or ferry to San Francisco. A definate goer for anyone who wants time out, but still the option of coming and going to tourist attractions. Not luxurious, but quaint and an unforgettable experience. Vanda is a wonderful hostess, she stocked the fridge with gourmet treats and even some bubbly!"

  • Excellent for Multi Family Gathering

"The house is well located for a multi-family trip, with variety of interests for all ages: it's close to a variety of points of interests, we visited Traintown. The property backs on the water, there is a kayak and a rowboat. The trampoline and the swimming pool were big hits. The kitchen is well equipped. Bryan is easy to deal with, he answered all of our questions about the house. House provides plenty of space and has a great selection of games especially helpful if visiting with small children. Good parking available. the area feels very safe and welcoming. I would highly recommend this house for a family with kids (different ages, including teens) or/and multi-family trips. We would rent again, thanks."
