  • Glorious Historic Home, full of magic and beauty

"The Straus Home Ranch will forever be a magical place where dreams come true. Our New year's Eve wedding was picture perfect and full of charm, love and happiness. Our guests fell equally in loved with this venue and shared our passion for the area and all of its riches. Michael and Vivian, the venue hosts, are as lovely as this wonderful home they grew up in, and quickly felt like old friends with their incredible hospitality and genuine kindness. Whether for a wedding, family reunion, small get together or just a weekend out of the city, the Straus Home Ranch is the perfect backdrop for any occasion. Rest assure, we've already booked our next visit."

  • Rustic beauty by the water

"Poet's loft is very lovely, rustic home, on the water. If you are looking for a serene, comfortable and relaxing stay, you will have found it. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped for cooking, the hot tub was excellent, and our favorite place was sitting by the windows overlooking the bay. Nature was all around us. I wish I had brought my iPod because I could have listened to my own music, but the system they have is great. If you are older, the stairs and step-in bath tub may be a little uncomfortable, but we found them doable and not a problem. By the way, check out the hours of Tomales Bay oysters and Hog Island oysters, but, this is where to buy fresh oysters! Tomales Bay, Marshall and Pt Reyes are California jewels!"

  • Perfect!

"My family and I spent 3 nights in the Brynant Cottage and LOVED it! The house is very special. It's comfortable, sophisticated, down-to-earth and high end all at once. The location is very private yet close enough to amenities. We enjoyed BBQing fresh oysters that we picked up at the Hog Island Oyster Company just down the road, sipping wine on the deck and taking a soak in the hot tub. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you might need. Our dealings with the manager Sandy were great! She was able to answer any and all questions we had and the renting went smoothly. We would love to return!"
