  • Missing it already

"I was lucky enough to spend my 40th birthday at the Four Sisters Farmhouse, and I can't wait to find a reason to go back! Our group of five was very impressed with the amenities and convenient location. The pool area really is beautiful. I snuck out there every chance I could get. In addition to this fabulous house, I would recommend Valley Wine Tours and dinner at Willi's in Healdsburg. Thank you so much!"

  • Amazing Stay in This Magical Cottage on Bleu Bay Beach - Marshall - Tomales Bay

"What an amazing stay we had for three nights in this lovely, clean, well-appointed cottage - nothing can beat the unsurpassed views always available while cooking, BBQing, reading, listening to music, napping, soaking in the outdoor tub (we did not, however the location of this soaking tub is amazing), and listening to the sounds of the water lapping on the beach. We ventured out on long walks thru the Strauss Dairy pastures, and everywhere - the cows actually seemed to welcome our visits and posed for many photos!! The Tomales Bakery was closed during our stay, however is a MUST for anyone interested in REALLY fine bakery items. The Dungeness crab at Nick's was FRESH FRESH FRESH and completely 'over the top' delicious in the Louie salad. This, along with a bowl of clam chowder and glasses of wine made a late afternoon lunch perfect. But wait, the next day we collected oysters from Hog Island Oyster Company to BBQ back at the cottage. OMG, the whole experience of enjoying these most delicious morsels, hot off the cottage BBQ, alongside wine while sitting on the deck of the cottage - with endless views and fresh air - well, PERFECT. At times we could almost imagine Jack London joining us in the amazing historic cottage with its comfortable 'curl up' reading chair, rocker, sofas, wood floors, rugs, and gorgeous wood trimmed windows. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals - and for two 'foodies' that live to forage outstanding food, the local resources and kitchen provisions were far more than adequate. We even called ahead to make sure a coffee maker was available for the coveted cup of liquid gold in the mornings, and had an immediate response from Robert letting us know that there were two coffee makers available, including the details of their filters - AND the filters were available. PERFECT. We chose to sleep downstairs on the MOST comfortable queen sofa bed, snugged in front of the cozy fireplace, awakened by the sounds of lapping water, birds, and need we say again, THE VIEWS. There is no question that we will return - again, and again. We only hesitate to share this 'gem' to everyone we know, saving the magic of this cottage for ourselves and only those that will respect and care for this space in the manner it deserves. Thank you, Robert and Tom. Cary and Bob"

  • Great Place

"The home was so tastefully decorated. Loved all of the ocean decorations. Furnishings were very nice and comfortable. Lots of space. Very comfortable bed in master bedroom. Great to have it walking distance to the beach. The two teenage boys who went along spent a lot of time there. The only negative was trying to control the water temperature in the bathroom showers. Too hot or too cold. Felt like I was wasting water. We all had a very good time (loved making smores)."

  • What An Awesome Experience!

"I found this gem of an estate and felt like we won the lottery when we walked in. I literally had little happy tears as I took in the ocean smell and the breathtaking view of the ocean from the house. It is a very large house, two levels and it is decorated so beautifully. The peace and serenity awakened my spirits and I could not stop smiling the whole weekend. I took my husband there for his 60th birthday because he works so hard and never, ever relaxes. All week and even up till now, my husband thanks me for the trip. We loved the people, the scenery, the peaceful quiet, and oh, the wild animals we saw were just awesome. We drove up to the Pt. Arena light house and made a few stops on the way to just take in the beautiful ocean. As animal lovers, we were so happy to see hawks, ravens, and we saw so many seals! For dinner, we went into Gualala, which is really a short distance and had a nice dinner overlooking the sea. We also star gazed at night and finally lost count of all the falling stars we saw. Each morning, we were even greeted by local deer as we drank our coffee on the huge deck! I almost don't want to tell anyone about this spectacular place because I want to keep it as hidden as possible. However, I do feel the need to thank the property owners for allowing us to stay in their home. The home had every single thing we needed except food that was purchased from the local store, which had everything we could ever need by the way. I have traveled all over and I must say, this was the best place I have ever stayed. If you seek peace, tranquility and unmatched ocean beauty, this town is the place to be. Before I forget, the master bathroom tub was in a world of its own! You are able to gaze at the peaceful ocean, hear the waves crash as you bath in a huge Jacuzzi tub! When I show people pictures of the property, they are in awe! We are going in April but choosing another property from the same owner just to be a little closer to the ocean. Don't get me wrong, you are literally a short walk from Cook's Beach at this one and you can see the ocean from almost every room in the house! When we left, I immediately felt sad to be going home to Los Angeles which is filled with traffic!!!! We plan to vacation there at least twice a year!"
