  • A roomy, comfortable cottage in a great location!

"Our daughter's wedding was in Kenwood, and we stayed at the cottage for 3 nights. Our 1 1/2 year old grandson stayed with us, and we loved it here! The cottage is clean, comfortable and roomy. The back yard was perfect for hanging out - quiet, private and surrounded by plants, birds and the resident squirrel. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed for cooking, and we grilled steaks on the patio. The night before the wedding, we had people over for pizza and wine, and the house was roomy enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. The sun room was our grandson's favorite hang-out spot. The bedrooms are comfortable, and the bathrooms roomy. Everything is as described. The day we arrived, I had a question for Ginelle, and she responded to my email quickly. We couldn't have had a better experience!"

  • Rustic beauty by the water

"Poet's loft is very lovely, rustic home, on the water. If you are looking for a serene, comfortable and relaxing stay, you will have found it. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped for cooking, the hot tub was excellent, and our favorite place was sitting by the windows overlooking the bay. Nature was all around us. I wish I had brought my iPod because I could have listened to my own music, but the system they have is great. If you are older, the stairs and step-in bath tub may be a little uncomfortable, but we found them doable and not a problem. By the way, check out the hours of Tomales Bay oysters and Hog Island oysters, but, this is where to buy fresh oysters! Tomales Bay, Marshall and Pt Reyes are California jewels!"

  • Great stay in a quiet neighborhood

"The property was exactly as presented in the listing. My travel companions and I were very pleased with our stay. The walk to BART is a short ten minutes and there are grocery and dining out options within a couple of blocks. There is even a Thai place around the corner that serves carry-out late night. Our favorite excursions in Berkeley were The Cheese Board Collective and Grizzly Peak. Admittedly most of the time we were in the City and did not spend much of our stay in Berkeley. I would recommend to a friend as well as book again if in the area."

  • Amazing Stay! A beyond memorable experience

"If you're looking for temporary housing in San Francisco, stop the search right now and book this Garden Studio - otherwise you might not get the chance to stay here! I was new to the city and Veronica's lovely studio helped me live like a local from the moment I stepped into the calm oasis. Veronica is so kind and she'll go out of her way to make you feel at home and show you parts of the city that only the real locals know about. The studio is very spacious (it's bigger than you think it is from looking at the photos!) and has all the amenities that you need to live comfortably. Two large windows in the bedroom bring in a ton of natural light and you get a beautiful view of the garden that Veronica graciously cares for. The studio also has a full kitchen and all of the amenities that you'll need to make yourself comfy. Oh and the Queen Sized Bed is so comfortable that it makes getting out of bed every morning a way more difficult task. Location wise it couldn't be more convenient -- you've got Dolores Park as a 2 min walk away, and the Muni/Bart will take you downtown in 15 minutes. If you like good food of all types of cuisines, then you'll like the Mission District. A 3 min walk will take you to Valencia Street with local artisans and restaurants, and amazing Mexican food is around every corner. It's too bad I can't stay here for the long term, but I'll definitely be recommending Veronica's studio to anyone I know that is staying in SF!"
