  • Perfect in every way

"I loved everything about this sweet place. The photos really don't do it justice. It is actually much larger than it appears in the pictures. It is a studio as everything is in one room but it doesn't feel cramped at all. The bed is super comfy and the couch is as well. Everything was spotless when I arrived and checking in super easy as key left on counter and front door unlocked. The photos don't show it but a full kitchen is included to the right of the front door. As I was by myself I got supplies at the wonderful Mill Valley Market (super deli) and had dinner at the studio. The location is perfect. Walking distance to town one way. The other way you head up Cascade Drive along a beautiful stream to Cascade Falls. I live about an hour away but came here to hike on Mount Tamalpais and in Muir Woods. Super close to both. The studio is very quiet and set apart from the house. The only noise I heard was from the garage door opening but it didn't bother me. I play Irish music and even had a few friends over to play some tunes! The studio really is set apart and private with views of trees from every window. Although I never met Kendra she was easy to deal with. I hope to return soon and highly recommend this beautiful studio."

  • Beautiful tree house!

"The house is great - fully equipped kitchen with an awesome view, cozy master with en suite bathroom, truly beautiful dining and living area - it feels lived in and loved without feeling like we were invading someone else's space. We had our two teenaged boys with us; they stayed in the den on a pull out and in the office on a blow up mattress. Worked well for all of us. The house is on the side of a mountain (hence the great views) but is a nice 5 minute walk to the lovely Equator coffee shop and the local grocery store in town. The driveway, as others have noted, is STEEP. I didn't feel up to it, though I'm sure it's fine for anyone used to mountain driving. We parked on the street without issue. Mill Valley is very quaint - we'd stayed in San Francisco many times and it was a lovely change to stay in a cute small town. We enjoyed Kitchen Sunnyside for breakfast one morning, and also Prabh Indian Kitchen for dinner. And it's very close to San Francisco, Stinson Beach (Parkside Cafe is great), Point Reyes and all the hiking you could hope for. Joan recommended a hike to the beach at Tennessee Valley which was super easy and beautiful. The host, Joan, is lovely and easy to work with. Couldn't have asked for better. All in all - top ratings! We loved it!"

  • Home not a House

"If you looking for a fabulous home that has everything you need - book this property. Management company is very responsive to any request or issue we had during our stay. Mill Valley is a village straight out of European fairy tale. From this homes location you can walk to dining, grocery store or a movie. Best of all are l the great hiking trails inches from the front door."

  • Perfection!

"This property was the perfect respite for our family stay for my daughter's near by wedding. The property truly was "magical", we enjoyed the setting, the access to great walks nearby, and the layout and decor of the house. The stay was most enjoyable, and the homeowner was very helpful."
