  • Charming Home

"We stayed in Mill Valley during Thanksgiving week and it was a lovely experience. We arrived and the house was immaculate . The owner left us a bottle of wine and a detailed note including restaurants in the area, hikes, and shopping suggestions. The kitchen is well appointed and so convenient to cook in. The grounds are spectacular and the views are stunning from every room in the house. It is a short walk to town.Fabulous location to get almost anywhere in the bay area. Great time had by all of us."

  • Beautiful tree house!

"The house is great - fully equipped kitchen with an awesome view, cozy master with en suite bathroom, truly beautiful dining and living area - it feels lived in and loved without feeling like we were invading someone else's space. We had our two teenaged boys with us; they stayed in the den on a pull out and in the office on a blow up mattress. Worked well for all of us. The house is on the side of a mountain (hence the great views) but is a nice 5 minute walk to the lovely Equator coffee shop and the local grocery store in town. The driveway, as others have noted, is STEEP. I didn't feel up to it, though I'm sure it's fine for anyone used to mountain driving. We parked on the street without issue. Mill Valley is very quaint - we'd stayed in San Francisco many times and it was a lovely change to stay in a cute small town. We enjoyed Kitchen Sunnyside for breakfast one morning, and also Prabh Indian Kitchen for dinner. And it's very close to San Francisco, Stinson Beach (Parkside Cafe is great), Point Reyes and all the hiking you could hope for. Joan recommended a hike to the beach at Tennessee Valley which was super easy and beautiful. The host, Joan, is lovely and easy to work with. Couldn't have asked for better. All in all - top ratings! We loved it!"

  • Amazing!

"We feel so grateful to have found this place and had the opportunity to stay for 2 months. Susan was beyond kind and accommodating and the home was "perfect". The views are spectacular and the home itself is beyond cozy. The decor with antiques, books and paintings take you back in time and make you want to sit back, pour a martini, put on some Frank Sinatra or Herb Alpert, and relax! We also loved the easy access to hiking right out the door and the property is partially fenced which was great for our 2 labs who, after their daily hike, loved exploring and chasing the squirrels. But the best part was the "feel" of the peaceful and beautiful. Although we live close by we plan to visit again...hope to make it at least a yearly event. I cannot recommend this place enough for a weekend or longer stay. We LOVE this home! It is a truly special place!"

  • Beautiful enormous family home in Mill Valley

"The recently renovated house has a wonderful flow and beautiful details. We loved the large eat in kitchen and the multi-level layout. We enjoyed the hot tub and the many fun things both inside and out for our children to play with. The design style is clean, funky, beautiful and comfortable. Appliances and finishings are top of the line. Millicent was so helpful. Whole Foods is a 1 minute drive away. All in all, a perfect week long stay in Marin!"
