  • Lovely, well appointed home

"We rented 16 Muirfield Rd for a long, multi generational family weekend. Three of us were competing in the Half Moon Bay International Marathon, and others wanted to play golf or just relax near the ocean. The multilevel bedrooms with private baths were perfect for our group. The kitchen was well equipped which was helpful for the grandchildren. The proximity to the Ritz was a big plus also as we enjoyed the fire pits at sunset while listening to the bagpipes. The beds were also very comfortable."

  • Exceptional in every way!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We have stayed at inns, B&B's, hotels, castles, and all sorts of places all over the world, and this stay was right up there with the best. Lilian was a great hostess. The location is spectacular and the views are amazing. The house is extremely comfortable, warm, and cozy. We loved the location. We could walk down the hill in 10 minutes to the market for groceries or to go to the bakery or a restaurant, or walk to the ferry to catch a ride to downtown San Francisco right to the Ferry Building and cable cars. We were only 15 minutes to Muir Woods National Park or an hour's drive to Napa. There is a lot to do in the Marin Headlands (don't miss the Bonita Point Lighthouse), and that is a 5-10 drive (go on the weekday and you'll miss the crowds). We walked up and down the hilly streets and hidden step paths to town and got to admire all the hillside homes along the way. The only downside for those who don't like to walk is that what goes down must go up--the steps and streets are very steep, so the walk back up can be a little strenuous. However, if you can't walk, then you can drive down. Our teenage boys found a basketball court and tennis court nearby, which they used for skateboarding since no-one else was there. We had a perfect combination of things to do for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful, quiet days and evenings, spectacular views, a cozy home, and lots to do, and Lilian had everything we needed. The place was spotless and very well maintained. We would highly recommend this house. The McDonalds Grand Rapids, MI"

  • A little piece of Heaven!

"My husband and I stayed at Marion's cottage for 4 nights. It was so cute and comfortable with all of the amenities of home. We just loved that it sits right over the water, where you can watch all types of birds, an occasional seal and lots of different boats coming and going. The location can't be beat, walking distance to all of Sausalito's downtown area, shopping, restaurants and the ferry to San Francisco. Marion is very sweet and ready to help at any time. We definitely plan to return to this wonderful little gem!"

  • Quiet, secluded beauty!

"We had a wonderful time at this amazing property. While a little remote, if you're looking to REALLY get away, this is a great location! Pool and hot tub were a nice treat! We hope to come back!"
