  • Cute, quiet and perfect for a couple getaway

"Perfect location, close to the ocean where you can see the Santa Cruz Wharf and hear the sea lions. The apartment is a quiet above garage unit with comfortable decor perfect for a couples getaway. Easy access to the beautiful ocean walkway across the street and views of the local surfers. A quick walk gets you to the wharf and all the restaurants and Boardwalk. We will definitely be back."

  • Nice apartment, great location

"My fellow grandmother and I stayed here for a month to be near our children and our brand new grandson and his 2 year old brother. The location was perfect for us - right off Cortland St - and the apartment itself was quite adequate. Since one of our primary tasks was the preparation of dinners, being so close to Good Life (wonderful local grocery store) was really a plus. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed, including some great spices left by former renters. Unfortunately, as others have noted, the futon was really not intended for sleeping on for more than a night or two. We ended up bringing in a blow up air mattress so my fellow grandmother could get a good night's sleep. Unlike the futon, the bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. We had some issues with the quality of the internet but we were too tired out by our 2 year old grandson to ever turn on the tv or try to watch Netflix so I can't speak to how it would have worked - Pandora had to buffer in order to even play music. That being said, I'm sure if we had needed more direct intervention Anya and Trent would have worked to rectify the problem. (They were very good about responding to my emails about a few other minor problems, quickly taking care of my concerns.) The outdoor space was also a real plus - though by the end of our month it needed a gardener's attention. I will certainly consider staying here in the future."

  • Beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge! Perfect place to stay with larger group!

"We had an amazing stay at this house. Close to San Francisco and other Bay area highlights and the perfect place to unwind after a busy day with the wonderful pool and hot tub area. Beautiful views of the Golden Bridge from the front deck, which was our favorite way to start each day with a cup of coffee! The owners had plenty of pantry items stocked up so after a quick trip to the grocery store, we were able to make several meals at the house. The owners even gave us a welcome kit with s'mores (which our kids loved!) to make in the outdoor fireplace. We could go on and on about the stay at this house. It truly felt like a home a way from home!"

  • Quiet, relaxing, refreshing cottage

"If you are searching and comparing sites and locations for a relaxing, comfortable stay in Sausalito - your search is over. This quaint, well kept cottage will met all your needs in a home away from home. Really, put away your spread sheet and tear up your notes because the chore is over - pack your bags - lightly as most all essentials are waiting for you. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops out door activities and shops are well within walking distance. The views of Richardson Bay are calming and a treat any time of the day. There is plenty of on street parking is available in this wonderful residential neighborhood. The owners have provided a drawer full of maps, restaurant menus and items of historic and entertaining interest. I would recommend getting a BayAreaFastrak for your vehicle. There are no "cash" toll booths on the Golden Gate Bridge (GGB) and it'll save you some time and money with the quick trips to San Francisco. There are plenty of trails (Sausalito - Mill Valley, for example) for unlimited biking and running in addition to a scenic route from Sausalito through Fort Baker and across the GGB or the Marin Headlands. Once you have enjoyed the peace and relaxing atmosphere of the cottage, you'll be back. We can speak from experience."
