  • Absolutely wonderful!

"Felt like we had one of the best views in San Francisco! Classy home with everything we needed for clean, safe, and comfortable stay. Would come back in a heartbeat! Mike, Christin and family."

  • Beautiful setting in Redwoods, close to Santa Cruz

"This cabin is located in the Mt. Hermon area. It is an old historic place. The cabin was built in 1906 and has rustic charm. There is a bedroom right off the kitchen where my husband and I stayed, and a similar room off the small living room where my brother stayed with his wife, both with queen size beds and their own bathrooms. The bathrooms are quite small, but work. The shower head has a very restricted flow, but they are trying to save on water for their septic system and drought. Note that Mt. Hermon is a conference/retreat area and the cabin is not too far from their youth camp, so you may hear kids having a great time. Hiking trails start just below the cabin and are a beautiful walk. The cabin had all the kitchen and cooking utensils we needed. There is a larger room downstairs with a separate entrance and it also has bunk beds, but we did not use it. The cabin is about 15 min. to Santa Cruz, and 5 min. to Roaring Camp, where we attended a wedding. It was a pleasure dealing with Don who was great at communication and tried to accommodate our soecial needs. We also had the opportunity of meeting Shelly, their manager/housekeeper, who was very nice."

  • Great house

"We had a group of 10 stay for a few days and we had a great time. The house is well equipped for large groups and the indoor and outdoor spaces are overwhelmingly huge. We really enjoyed the large courtyard and hot tub. Would love to stay here again some time and highly recommend."

  • Fabulous Find!

"Here’s the bottom line: We booked our next stay in Arun and Suzy’s apartment when we were just halfway through our first (month-long) visit. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, immaculate, and exactly as pictured and described on the website. It has an excellent kitchen for those who want to cook. There are two decks, and views of the Bay to the west, the Berkeley Hills to the east, and downtown Oakland to the south. And the windows overlook Suzy’s beautiful garden. The location can’t be beat. Situated between Solano and the Gourmet Ghetto (on Shattuck), the apartment is within walking distance of at least three first-class restaurants; ethnic food of every description; and a wonderful little tacqueria (Cactus, on Solano). Also the Monterey Market, the Monterey Fish Market, and a good wine shop beside them. Also supermarkets; new and used bookstores; ATM; and even a nice little gym. Easy on-street parking. But you don’t really need a car, unless you want to leave the Bay Area, since it’s only a twenty-minute walk to the North Berkeley BART station. Arun and Suzy, who live downstairs, couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful, from our first dealings to our departure."
