  • Nice location for visit to San Francisco

"We enjoyed our stay in this neighborhood apartment. It had pretty much everything we needed. The decor is a little dated but comfortable. It is also a little dark because of its lower terrace location. The area is lively and close to restaurants and public transportation."

  • Excellent experience

"Amazing place, perfect for my parents and my 7 month-old son. No issues checking in or out, place was super clean (ask my hyperallergenic wife), and they even had some food/drinks in the fridge for us! You'd be crazy to stay at a hotel...hard to beat this place! Thanks Arun and Suzy!"

  • Great stay in a quiet neighborhood

"The property was exactly as presented in the listing. My travel companions and I were very pleased with our stay. The walk to BART is a short ten minutes and there are grocery and dining out options within a couple of blocks. There is even a Thai place around the corner that serves carry-out late night. Our favorite excursions in Berkeley were The Cheese Board Collective and Grizzly Peak. Admittedly most of the time we were in the City and did not spend much of our stay in Berkeley. I would recommend to a friend as well as book again if in the area."

  • We hope to make this a family tradition!

"My family of four just spent the Christmas holidays at this charming, wonderful house. And even though it rained almost every day of our visit, the weather could not put a damper on our trip, largely because we absolutely loved staying in this house. (My husband joked that he hoped the owners wouldn't mind a lodger... because he was not planning to leave). The owners opened their home to us as if we were their close friends. And my daughter was so inspired by their art that she came home and tried to replicate it. More than anything, though, we just knew that we were staying in the home of a happy, warm family (odd as that sounds given that we never met them!). I am a Bay Area native and know Marin County well. You cannot beat the location for a true "Marin" experience: close to the city, but an absolute retreat. Best things: the views at sunrise and sunset; their extensive, interesting library and art collection; relaxing in the hot tub on a rainy evening; driving the "back way" to Pt. Reyes. Also, the proximity to open space trails means you can hike in the morning with views of the SF skyline and the East Bay, then make into the city for lunch in Chinatown. The neighborhood is great for running, too. Truly, this house (and its location) exceeded our expectations."
