  • The perfect VRBO apartment in San Francisco

"We fell in love with the apartment during our two-week stay. It is within easy walking distance of many shops, restaurants, cafés, and markets, especially Asian, Russian, and Polish ones. Several bus routes have stops close by, and the Muni 38 series traverse the entire city via Geary Boulevard, from Market & Beale downtown all the way to Land’s End. In the interest of economy, we ate most breakfasts and simple dinners at the apartment, since it has a complete and modern kitchen. Two separate bedrooms—one soft bed and one firm—make for easy sleeping. The living room has a wide-screen TV, and the bathroom has a glass stand-alone shower. The entire apartment has been completely redecorated and modernized, but retains its beautiful, original hardwood floors. Surrounded as it is by traffic, the apartment is very quiet, perhaps because of its location in mid-block. In addition, the neighborhood feels safe. The owner is accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. We are grateful to her for making our dream San Francisco vacation a reality."

  • Lots of fun!

"We really enjoyed our stay. It is perfect for 2 couples. The apartment had everything we needed. Greta even had the Super bowl station tuned in upon our arrival so we could watch the big game. It is about half a mile downhill walk to Haight Ashbury district and right across the street from the Golden Gate huge park. Excellent city views and a few doors down from the famous Jefferson Airplane house. Can't say enough good things about this place and the wonderful hostess Greta. We live in the country where it is very quiet so we used earplugs at night to keep out city sounds. We parked right across the street and there are no parking restrictions. We never needed to move the car, never drove and took a taxi everywhere. No fare was over $19 even way across the city. It rained constantly from Sunday to Thursday but we still had a great time. We will return."

  • Perfect Apartment for Our Small Family of Three

"We spent our Thanksgiving holiday in San Francisco, and this apartment was perfect for our family. It is blocks from a wonderful park/playground, a grocery store, and two neighborhood 'main streets' where there are shops and restaurants. The views from inside the apartment are also spectacular, overlooking the valley and hill towards USF and creating beautiful views of both sunrise and sunset. We would love to spend another vacation in the same location. My only negative is that the beds were not that comfortable; however, the amenities outweigh that."

  • Wonderful location

"Terrific location, easy access to all points in SF. Host very accommodating and quick communicator to ensure we had best experience. Also pretty close to some good food and coffee. Balcony gets morning sun, perfect for coffee. Bright and airy top floor of a house. Steeper stairs are like everywhere else in SF, as are funny angles of the roof lines - so caution if mobility a major issue."
