  • Great House, A Few Issues

"We really enjoyed the neighborhood, beautiful and quiet, looking down on the Castro to the North and Noe Valley to the South. Great restaurants within walking distance in the Mission in one direction and Noe Valley in the other, and easy access to mass transit. Perfect for our family of four, since we love to walk, but be prepared for the hills, which is to say be prepared for San Francisco. The house is roomy and beautifully furnished. Street level is the middle floor with living room, dining room, kitchen, deck with great view. There are two bedrooms with a shared bath on the top floor, including the master with a wall of windows the same great view (although without window treatments, so better for early risers). The lower level is a den with a big-screen TV and a pullout couch. (The mattress, mattress pad, etc., did not seem clean, so we did not use that room for sleeping, although it would have allowed our teenagers to spread out.) The second bathroom is on the lower level. Other bedding was clean and comfortable, and bathrooms were clean. The kitchen is beautiful, and was equipped with everything we needed (although the fridge was full of the owner's food, including perishables). The owner provided an incorrect entry code, and the door latch was broken, so we were unable to get into the house at first, and we had some difficulty reaching the owner. We met several neighbors while trying to get into the house, all of whom were friendly and helpful. The house is listed as no pets, but the owners have a dog, so this property may not be suitable for those with pet allergies."

  • Loved my stay with Toni!

"I loved this place. Perfect for being near to downtown and all the city sights, yet in a nice neighborhood, without a ton of city traffic noise. As a light sleeper, I really appreciated the quiet. Downtown & the Moscone Center was two miles away, or a $3.45 Uber Pool ride. Restaraunts were awesome and extremely varied - I especially liked The Catch, on Market Street. It's in walking distance, but because of the San Francisco hills, I Uber'ed it. Love this place - perfect for one or two people! Property was clean, private entrance, beautiful house and neighborhood. And Toni was thoughtful enough to leave some excellent coffee and creamer for the morning."

  • Castro rental

"Simply because I don't believe in giving max stars for anything (really, how can anything be PERFECT?), I gave the next best. Loved the location. Parking on alternate trash days was challenging for US, but probably over analyzed it and a non-issue once we got it. Pictures are representative but REAL time, even better. Apartment clean and really appreciated the quality of the bath towels and linens. We did not need the help of out landlord much, but when we did, he was very prompt in getting back to us. Very accommodating in obtaining a weekly parking pass. Guillermo is methodical and organized. I appreciated that. Will be back."

  • Great apartment in a great location

"Very comfortable, full of natural light, in a great location (Castro / Noe Valley) in a quiet neighborhood. There is one big bedroom and another smaller one, both with queen size beds, modernly decorated living room with cable TV that we used to relax at the end of the day. The owner was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We rented a car for our visit, parking on the street was most of the time easy. We would definitely come again."
