  • Very nice spot

"We stayed here for a month's vacation in early 2016, without a car. We took full advantage of the nearby bus stops and the City's outstanding public transit system to explore San Francisco widely. The apartment is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. It's very sweet and clean, fully equipped with everything you might need for a home-away-from-home, and many added thoughtful touches. The house backs onto Coronado Heights Park, a sweet little neighborhood green spot, with easy short trails to spectacular views - and a great dog run for the neighborhood dog walkers. If you are a dog person, you will love watching them play in the large fenced off area within the park. The Randall Museum in the Park was closed for renovation while we were there unfortunately, look forward to a return visit after it re-opens. The area is hilly, but that's San Francisco. Landlord Guillermo was easy to contact and most accommodating. I'm sure we'll be back."

  • Beautiful from high ceiling to hardwood floors

"This home provided the classic San Francisco experience and then some. The house: charming, homey, high quality beds, bedding, towels, with two newly renovated elegant bathrooms and a new fully stocked kitchen. It is spacious, easily accommodated our 7 adults and one 12 yo. The neighborhood: charming, bustling, with easy access to transportation, walking distance to Safeway and Whole Foods. We did not find the noise form the restaurant downstairs or the street disruptive. Other reviewers commented on the tight entry to the garage, so let me add that we were able to get our Kia Sorento (small SUV) in and out by folding the side mirrors and being careful. Having garage access in SF is a luxury. We arrived Wed early evening and walked the 2 short blocks to the farmers market, bought ravioli and pesto sauce from one vendor, fresh french bread from another, homemade cheese (16 options) from another, asparagus from another, home made soap as a souvenir. We picked up one stick of butter from the corner market and had a feast. We decided to walk up Market to Franklin to start the Big Bus tour, nice 15-minute walk. Our stay in the house made our family wedding even more special."

  • A perfect accommodation in a spectacular city

"From the beginning of my communication with the owner for a place to stay for a week in San Francisco, Sharon was exceptionally pleasant, accessible, and helpful. Our group was a large one: five grandparents, four children, and five grandchildren, and while we have vacationed together twice before, this was the first time we were all to share one home. During the contract process, she reassured me that, in the event of a catastrophe preventing our travel (from Tennessee, Georgia, and Chicago), she could probably rent the property to someone else, given that we were scheduled to be there during a busy holiday week. Fortunately, that did not happen. From the moment we walked into the roomy, immaculate, beautifully restored home, we knew that we had found the ideal space. The children we so enchanted with the third floor playroom/sleep area, with ping pong table, toys (including leggos), games, a TV, and DVDs, that we sometimes had difficulty persuading them that there was a world of fun and interest awaiting them in the city. All the adults had lovely bedrooms and bathrooms and we spent early morning and evening hours in the spacious living/dining/kitchen area looking out at the spectacular garden patio. Moreover, the kitchen was well equipped, and Sharon provided many of the necessary staples/condiments in the kitchen in addition to bathroom and laundry supplies. Evening baths were a treat for the grandchildren in the jacuzzi. We decided not to rent cars during the time we were there and made good use of the buses, subways, and occasional taxis, and we were able to walk to shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. Sharon even recommended an excellent sitter for an adults only dinner out. What did we enjoy most about our stay? Everything! We would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a lovely retreat in a quiet neighborhood before and after experiencing the wonders of San Francisco, and we hope to return."
