  • Beautiful Apartment in Lovely Neighborhood

"This property is at the end of a dead end street in a very upscale neighborhood. The ad described it as Noe Valley but I think this was on top of a hill so Id describe it as Diamond Heights. The apartment was lovely, plenty of room with beautiful views. The landlord seemed very organized, there was plenty of helpful information in pamphlets in the home. There was an allotted parking space but some neighbor had parked their junky car in the spot so I had to find street parking which wasn't much of a problem. Be warned if you do this, though, the street cleaning days are different on different sides of the street and different from the adjoining block near the apartment. I got a 68 dollar ticket and wasn't very happy. This property is one where you'd probably want a car. It is not near a bunch of shops ( by San Francisco standards) so you'd have to walk down or up a hill about 5 or more blocks to get to things. It is a very nice neighborhood, I found it very enjoyable staying up there since I had lived in SF as a early 20 something and certainly never could have afforded or known anyone who could have afforded this area so it was new to me."

  • Humming Pulsation

"Wow! The "Fung Sui' is excellent to start off a promising stay. # Unit 8. Well lit. Not cluttered. What I love is that there is NO CLOCK staring you in the face - so relax and get ready to explore - food and food; shops and shops; galore just 15 mins away. The kitchen ware for example needs upgrading - avoid cracks (habour bacteria) lines, the numbers if it is 4 of each ought to be 4. Perhaps the white bath/hand towels could be replaced. How about few pairs of chop sticks. Thumbs up for cleanliness. We felt Mike and Amy were accommodating when we needed a little more time to check out. Location is good. The Stinging Rose, a 15 min walk Class A. The Vietnamese Restaurant at the South Side of the square (near China Town Hilton) has a variety of delicious orders and we find the 3 beans dessert yummy . The cake shop just a short walk which sits on Jackson and Stockton junction next to the First Republic Bank is good for a quick bite and is reasonably priced. Walk down to the end of Powell, cross Market Street and get to 4th Street - there is a superb Japanese food outlet - excellent service.( 40 mins) On the whole the service provided has been what we expect; one that we can communicate our needs. We will certainly recommend our relatives/friends to this place."

  • Great space in wonderfully located neighborhood.

"Strategically located flat in a great neighborhood. Easy walking access to numerous adjacent neighborhoods (the Mission, Castro and Lower Haight) with many restaurant and shopping options. Muni and Market Street trains nearby. Good neighborhood coffee shops for quick breakfast or lunch. The space itself is clean and comfortable and opens onto a great garden sitting & eating area. The apartment is stocked with all the essentials. Beds are very comfortable! Communication with Holly the owner was prompt and easy via texts. Would definitely rent this space again, if available, for future visits."

  • Great setup for a work trip!

"We were in town for Dreamforce and as every year this time, hotels are outrageously priced. We rent a home on VRBO every year and it always works out perfectly. This house was no exception. Perfectly located for easily using the Muni Rail J Line so no need for a vehicle, at least not for us. The house was well suited for us 3 gals that traveled together. 3 bed/2 bath is hard enough to find in the Bay area, much less 4 bed/2.5 bath. Kitchen was well-equipped and very quick access to a Whole Foods nearby as well as a Starbucks at the end of the street."
