  • Stunning apartment near the Painted Ladies

"This is a beautiful, light and spacious apartment perfect for a family. A few minutes walk to the famous Painted Ladies, good restaurants, and the bus stop to get around San Francisco. Comfy bed, lively furnishings and easy to follow arrival information. Marilyn answered any questions promptly. If we are in San Francisco again we will definitely stay here!"

  • Amazing Stay! A beyond memorable experience

"If you're looking for temporary housing in San Francisco, stop the search right now and book this Garden Studio - otherwise you might not get the chance to stay here! I was new to the city and Veronica's lovely studio helped me live like a local from the moment I stepped into the calm oasis. Veronica is so kind and she'll go out of her way to make you feel at home and show you parts of the city that only the real locals know about. The studio is very spacious (it's bigger than you think it is from looking at the photos!) and has all the amenities that you need to live comfortably. Two large windows in the bedroom bring in a ton of natural light and you get a beautiful view of the garden that Veronica graciously cares for. The studio also has a full kitchen and all of the amenities that you'll need to make yourself comfy. Oh and the Queen Sized Bed is so comfortable that it makes getting out of bed every morning a way more difficult task. Location wise it couldn't be more convenient -- you've got Dolores Park as a 2 min walk away, and the Muni/Bart will take you downtown in 15 minutes. If you like good food of all types of cuisines, then you'll like the Mission District. A 3 min walk will take you to Valencia Street with local artisans and restaurants, and amazing Mexican food is around every corner. It's too bad I can't stay here for the long term, but I'll definitely be recommending Veronica's studio to anyone I know that is staying in SF!"

  • Enjoyed the quintessential San Fran experience

"The house itself is beautiful and in a great location sandwiched between Castro and Mission district, both of which are in easy walk. The house is beautiful and exactly what you'd hope to get a true San Fran experience. The house would be perfect with some minor creature comfort improvements such as new/better mattresses, repair of some broken window hardware (latches and not staying open, not the glass itself), and maybe a couple ceiling fans as it was warm when we were there. There is no included parking but we rented a spot from a neighbor (which I highly recommend) as the street parking is capped at 2 hours during the day. There is also a metro stop at the end of the street and more that enough places to eat (or just get coffee) within a short walk."

  • The property was very clean, quiet & had every amenity we needed. It had a great veiw too!

"This was my daughter's & my first time visiting San Fransisco and using Vacation Rentals by Owner. We were SO pleased with EVERYTHING! I was unsure as to where to stay, park, eat... After meeting with the owners, we were set for the weekend! They provided suggestions, directions, & a bottle of wine! We would definetly stay here again and would recommend it to friends & family. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood with a variety of little stores & restaurants within walking distance. I was concerned about having to pay to park in a parking lot over-night, or having to use a parking meter, but free parking was available! We used Uber a lot! (Also a first for us.) We also used the street car which had a pick-up spot just down the street. We took the street car to Union Square to meet friends for dinner. My daughters & I really enjoyed Dolores Park. Many families & groups gather there along with dogs of all types. A great place to people watch too! Thank you for a memorable weekend!"
