  • Excellent location and great condo!!!

"Our family of 4 stayed very comfortably in this condo for 4 nights. The location is outstanding - within walking distance of China town, Lombard St., Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Coit Tower, Ghirardelli, Union Square - everything! The view of the Bay Bridge from the top of the hill is beautiful, especially at night. There are many, many restaurants within blocks. We loved the Original Joe's (Italian and Steaks) and Calzone's (pizza and calzone). The condo had everything we needed and Jeff, the owner, is wonderful. He was flexible to meet us whenever we arrived and had suggestions for places to go and restaurants. The condo is newly renovated, stylish, modern, and clean. We rented a car, but didn't need it for the time in San Francisco - we used it to go to Muir Woods and to Pebble Beach and the 17 mile drive. We visited Muir Woods - if you go there, you must go early. Plan to arrive by 10am - there is limited parking space and if you don't get into the lot, you will have to walk far just to get into the woods to hike. If planning to see Alcatraz, book early as the tickets sell out. We were able to get tickets at a later date by using Viator and booking a combined bike tour/Alcatraz tour. The bike tour was great - an easy ride across the Golden Gate into Sausalito. Ghirardelli brownie sundaes were fantastic. Coit Tower is worth a visit as it's close to the condo and provides a nice view of the city. We usually stay in hotels on our trips, but this experience changed our minds. We love the flexibility of having "our own place" and the extra space is great because we were all comfortable and spent lots of time together in the living area. Highly recommend staying here!!!"

  • Best Location in North Beach

"My wife and I enjoyed 4 fantastic days in this wonderful clean beautiful apartment that had everything one could need including one of the best views of San Francisco from the large outdoor patio which we used every day and night. The neighborhood is very upscale and quiet which was perfect for us. You are only a 10 minute walk to pier 39 and there are so many great restaurants and bars within 5 minute walking. You do not need a car as Uber was great to use and walking anywhere was easy even with the big hill. You are literally right below the Coit Tower which is great to visit for more spectacular views. The apartment was well furnished and clean. Yes hot water in shower takes a few minutes but does get very hot so no issues there. Owner and their representative was easy to work with and instructions were easy in finding and accessing unit. Garbage access was a little more of a challenge in finding but we managed. We will certainly rebook at this property when we return to San Francisco Thanks Ed and Laura"

  • Perfect Getaway!!

"The studio was perfect for us in every way! The location was perfect, the studio was very clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the helpful tips and suggestions that Ruth included before we arrived - we carried it with us like a guide. This was our first trip to San Francisco, and we enjoyed the close proximity to restaurants, Fisherman’s Wharf, Ghirardelli Square (the chocolate milkshake was to die for!), Coit Tower, and Lombard St. where we walked to the “world’s crookedest street.” Without hesitation, we highly recommend Ruth’s vacation home!"

  • Fantastic View + Quiet & Cozy!

"First of all, Patrick (the landlord) is AWESOME and takes great pride in recommending amazing places to eat and visit around the neighborhood, which we loved! We rented the "city lights view" unit, and it was very clean and comfortable. Loved falling asleep in the loft to the view of the city lights! The flowers were in full bloom, so we kept the windows open to take full advantage, and loved waking up to the parrots in the morning. We were also blessed with perfect weather, so the views were breathtaking!"
