  • Callie's home is beautiful and well appointed with everything you need to feel at home.

"We loved the Victorian home, which is beautifully decorated and has all modern amenities. In addition, the neighborhood is wonderful with stores and restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely return to this rental next time we're in San Francisco."

  • Amazing place!

"Normally, I don't write reviews but we had a great experience here with my family and wanted to say thank you to Melanie for hosting us at this beautiful property. It is right in the heart of Union Street and an easy walk to all restaurants, cafes and shops. The place has beautiful views and is unexpectedly quiet for being in the middle of all this action. My only complaint was that the kitchen was rather spartan but still functional. Beds were comfortable and internet was fast. Thank you, Melanie! My son is already asking when we will be back."

  • Gorgeous views, great location!

"We really enjoyed our stay in this modern condo in the North Beach area. It worked perfectly for our family of four. Our daughters stayed in the bedroom with twin beds and each bedroom had an ensuite bath. Beds were very comfortable. The highlight was the main living level with its expansive views of San Francisco Bay. Out one of the windows in the living room, you can see the beautiful steeple of a nearby church. It's located a few blocks from Washington Square and the Italian district, where there are many cafes, bakeries, and restaurants. You must try Mama's or Cafe Roma for breakfast and Liguria Bakery where they make fresh focaccia every day."

  • great neighborhood getaway!

"Eureka studio is perfect for getting away and immersing yourself into the neighborhood like a local. We've been to San Francisco many times and yet still felt like this was new. That's because it truly is a neighborhood find. The studio is cute, clean, and roomy. Maria was extremely nice and helpful. We gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of 2 things: 1) due to the recent rains the apt had flooded. The flooring was still damp and the air was musty though Bruce & Maria did their best trying to air out and dry out the place. 2) There is zero connectivity in the studio. None! Cell phones do not work (i.e. "No Service") unless you have Verizon and even then you must go outside to maintain a signal. WiFi finally worked but it was a struggle. I was there for work so it was a big disappointment for me. Conference calls were extremely difficult as I had to go outside and stand in a certain spot. Again, Bruce tried to make up for it by providing free calls on the land line, but it is shared with 3 units and you cannot charge the handset at the same time that you are using the wifi. The last thing you need to know is that this is a working neighborhood, cute & friendly, but don't expect nightlife of any kind. Everything shuts down by 9 or 10pm even on Sat. Uber was great though and we went elsewhere for nightlife. This is a great place especially if you are there for a local event. All told, we recommend Eureka Studio; just plan accordingly."
