  • Amazing family weekend at Egret's Overlook

"We're a family of four adults who love the Point Reyes experience; and we found Egret's Overlook the very nicest place we have ever stayed in the area. The house is situated on a gentle bluff overlooking gorgeous wetlands; and the expansive wrap around outdoor deck is an amazing place to watch all variety of birds, the changing tides, and the changing fog. We enjoyed breakfasts outdoors; and we liked using the barbeque grill to make wonderful dinners to enjoy on the very lovely deck. The interior of the house is clean and comfortable and well appointed and interestingly decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped and has modern appliances; and as our family enjoys cooking, we found the kitchen design very accommodating for several people to be working at the same time. The house comfortably can sleep at least 6 people ...perhaps more. The master bath is beautiful with a shower room that brings the outdoors in. There is also a second nice bathroom. Lots of closet and drawer space. A very comfortable living room with ample seating. The dining area is also spacious. Most windows in the house are large allowing in plenty of light and gorgeous views of the wetlands. Also, the house is within walking distance of Point Reyes Station and all that the town has to offer. We had such a nice time and all because of the great house!"

  • Beautiful apartment and well located

"This apartment surpassed our expectations and was well appointed and clean. Erin had made additional touches by providing toiletries etc which we very useful. Great location - just 1 block to be able to take the Muni N line which can take you all the way to the Ferry Building in about half an hour. Great restaurants and supermarket are also very close. You can also easily walk to the Golden Gate park and Haight as well - which is definitely worth exploring for vintage clothing! Thanks For a great stay!"

  • Third time is charm

"We have stayed here 3 times in the last 5 years and the accommodations are great. The unit has 2 separate bedroom areas, good kitchen, and a great patio with a view of the 6th hole. The massive trees on the course are spectacular. Bob takes care of all the details and makes moving in and out easy. The Silverado clubhouse is also available to use. Try the Kobe hamburger at the bar, it is great. The fire pits there are also nice."

  • Exceptional Fourth of July!

"Two families and their friends had the BEST time enjoying all of the fantastic amenities here! We're all big waterskiers and to quickly get out on the glass in the morning was such a luxury and be back for a fabulous breakfast on the deck couldn't be better! The exposure of this house is perfect... nice sun in the morning that then travels around to the pool and sets behind you allowing for good shade during the hottest time of the day. The breeze coming off the delta by the pergola was our favorite place to hang out when we weren't out on the water. The house is very quiet for sleeping and provides enough space for the teenagers to collect in one area and adults in the other! The kitchen is WELL stocked for cooking for larger groups. The professional grade appliances are appreciated... our favorite chef was with us this weekend! The fireworks were visible from the deck both near and far. It was actually the best fireworks I've seen in a long time and we didn't have to go anywhere! We'll definitely be back."
