  • Great holiday get away

"We enjoyed holiday time with 3 generations in this gorgeous home, complete with a great little cake from Schubert Bakery to greet us. Lovely Christmas decorations and a beautiful setting with great proximity to the city, presidio and Marin Co. A fabulous stay! Thanks Mary and Michael."

  • Perfect stay (other than a few minor details)

"Property was very spacious, clean and suited us well. The beds were super super comfortable and we loved the wood floors. The local "bodegas" for food are awesome. Two things to note, I would have liked to be aware of prior or would have liked it to be addressed during stay was there was no parking (we were under impression there was) and had to search for street parking upon our return and the code to the wifi did not work. We received no response to the notes / messages on these two items while we stayed there. Oh, knobs on the doors and drawers in kitchen and a few more glasses would improve the stay. Other than those items, our stay was perfect and we would stay there again."

  • Great Location

"My husband and I stayed a week and loved it! The best feature is it's location - one street away from 24th Street where there is a ton of restaurants and shopping, and just a few streets down from a BART stop so it was easy, fast, and cheap to get to other parts of the Bay Area. The Mission is a friendly and colorful community, we immediately fell in love and can't wait to visit again. A couple amenities not listed include a clothes iron and a hair dryer. The kitchen was well stocked but honestly the 24th St food is so good and cheap, we ended up eating out for all of our meals. Two things we were happy to discover: 1) It's not crowded or constantly busy in the Mission and 2) it's not nearly as hilly as we were anticipating. Check out La Victoria (literally just around the corner) for some amazing Mexican pastries. Thanks Lucia for an excellent getaway!"
