  • Home Away From Home

"I stayed in the cottage while my own home was under construction due to a flood. It literally has everything you need when you need everything... a perfect little home away from home. As a local, I'm very happy to know about it, and I will certainly recommend it to visiting family and friends."

  • Phenomenal Place to Stay while visiting the San Francisco Bay

"My family of four had an unparalleled experience during our stay in San Francisco. This was my first time trying VRBO and I can honestly say I am never staying at hotel again, thanks to Taya! Taya was incredible to work with, I contacted her the day before arrival and she responded to my inquiry expeditiously. I hope all owners can live up to her standards - she is the consummate professional. When we arrived, her husband Peter was waiting for us to give us the tour. Peter was awesome and we were truly blown away as the rental has so much to offer, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, parking garage, laptop, printer, dvd players and the list goes on and on. It really was a home away from home! I'm really glad we didn't stay closer to the downtown as the Richmond District was so quaint. We really enjoyed grabbing a quick bite to eat and Italian Soda's from Cafe Enchante before heading downtown. Also staying in this area aided us in learning our way around the city. We caught on how to get around very quickly. We used public transportation by day and took a cab home at night. We purchased the Clipper transportation cards from Walgreens and we were on our way. A skip, hop and a jump and we were at Geary on the 38 and the bus took us everywhere we needed to go. I couldn't have selected a better location to stay at. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others."

  • Charming place

"We stayed here for 3 weeks and we felt very well in this house which is very well decorated inside and you feel at home at first sight. The neighborhood is quiet, the backyard garden is very beautiful with a lot of flowers, and a nice deck. This is really convenient from a transportation standpoint as well, BART station is close by, and access to 280 is very fast to get to the south, as it was my case. The garage is long enough to accommodate even a SUV. Owners were very responsive in case you have to get in touch with them for anything about the house."

  • Our best apartment rental.

"We are just finishing our first stay at David’s house, and I can’t say enough about how pleasurable this month has been. We’ve rented apartments in a variety of locations, and his place tops them all. The furnishings are of amazing quality – no leftover odds and ends here. I use a Cuisinart coffee maker in the morning! The art in the house is astounding, so many quality canvases, prints, photos. We spend a fair amount of our inside time just appreciating them. For a one-bedroom house, the space is amazing, a full kitchen, family room, formal living and dining rooms, thick soft carpets everywhere, it’s truly remarkable. The garden in back is great. It’s well-tended, and sitting out there with a beer at the end of a day of touring is perfect. There is a new, huge Lucky’s supermarket literally a block away – and it’s a flat walk, no hills! Three of our favorite places to eat and drink are just across the street from the market, and the lovely Panhandle is a mere three blocks away. We have great memories now of sunny walks among the giant eucalyptus. We’re not in the heart of “old” San Francisco, and we personally find that to be a plus. It’s wonderful to be able to enjoy that area sometimes, and then to come home to a quiet, lovely residential area. We are bus people, and the buses in this area are incredibly convenient. The Ferry Building is 15-20 minutes away by bus, another whisks you right to the center of the beautiful Presidio, four or five others move you to Fisherman’s Wharf, Nob Hill, the Castro and Noe Valley, on and on. David is impressively attentive to any issue you may have and responds almost always the same day to emails. He has a handyman on call, there are cleaners that show up every two weeks, very clear instruction notebooks strategically placed around the house. Communicating with him has been an ongoing pleasure. Too good to be true? How sincere is this evaluation? We’ve already booked the house for next year!"
