  • Ultimate Home Away from Home

"Margie and Larry are exceptional hosts! Warm and attentive, they definitely want your stay to be perfect and work very hard to achieve that end. By the end of your stay, they will be more than just hosts--they will be friends! My family from Mississippi stayed here during the Christmas holidays through New Years and as soon as they arrived--they felt instantly at home. The house is absolutely gorgeous and could not be in a more perfect location. Close to the Marina, Golden Gate Bridge, and the Palace of Fine Arts, there are endless possibilities for walking adventures. And with Chestnut Street just a few blocks away, shopping/dining opportunities abound. The views are unbelievable and you could certainly spend an entire day by the window just watching the world go by. My family cooks a lot and the kitchen was just perfect for preparing meals and the dining room easily hosts dinner for 10 or 12. The upstairs deck and balconies offer some of the best views in San Francisco and as my mother said about Alcatraz "I can almost touch it!" The bedrooms are all very comfortable, clean and rival any luxury hotel. The living room is a great spot of groups to settle in and chat after a nice meal! As a resident of San Francisco, I am truly envious of Margie's washer/dryer--makes quick work of any laundry you may have during your stay!! There are not enough good adjectives to properly describe what a great experience you will have as a guest in Margie and Larry's home. Traveling is often work in itself and having a landing/launching pad such as this will help you relax, renew and revive so you can set off on your own amazing journey in San Francisco!!! Thanks again Margie and Larry!!! The Biloxi Crew will surely be back again!"

  • Lovely sunny duplex!

"What a lovely sunny duplex with the cutest vintage bathroom!! The beds were SO UNBELIEVABLY COMFORTABLE. Its a little far off from where the main SF activities are, but the sunny spacious place made it worth it!"

  • Perfect Place in San Francisco

"We travelled to San Francisco to spend the holidays with my daughter and son-in-law. The home is absolutely beautiful and roomy, and was set up perfectly for our stay. It looked like it was recently renovated both inside and out. Markley left some Christmas decorations and even provided age appropriate toys for our two year old grandson. The owners responded quickly to us through email and text during our stay. The neighborhood was safe, centralized and walkable. We didn't want to leave! I would most definitely recommend this property to families visiting the city."

  • Very good. Extremely conveniently located. Adequately equipped. Very comfortable. Lovely patio.

"We were there for Thanksgiving and my daughter lives in the neighborhood, so it was only a 7 min walk. Cortland Avenue, a 3 minute walk away, is a terrific little street that has everything you might need for a short stay including a market, restaurants, and fun little coffee places. The apartment is located close to SF public transport so easy to get around the city. There are a couple of really great parks very close by, so if you have kids, this is perfect. There are two small playgrounds for younger kids and tots, plus a larger park on Bernal Hill, which is a lovely walk with a fantastic 360 view of the city. The apartment itself was well maintained with lots of room for three adults - one bedroom and a sleep sofa in the living room. The rear patio was fun altho because of the fall weather, we were not able to take advantage of it. I assume it would be perfect in spring and summer and perhaps early fall. All in all, it is a good value for San Francisco. There was a hot plate and a toaster oven rather than a microwave , probably because there is no regular stovetop and oven. However, for a short stay, there is everything one needs to be comfortable."
