  • Amazing Stay! A beyond memorable experience

"If you're looking for temporary housing in San Francisco, stop the search right now and book this Garden Studio - otherwise you might not get the chance to stay here! I was new to the city and Veronica's lovely studio helped me live like a local from the moment I stepped into the calm oasis. Veronica is so kind and she'll go out of her way to make you feel at home and show you parts of the city that only the real locals know about. The studio is very spacious (it's bigger than you think it is from looking at the photos!) and has all the amenities that you need to live comfortably. Two large windows in the bedroom bring in a ton of natural light and you get a beautiful view of the garden that Veronica graciously cares for. The studio also has a full kitchen and all of the amenities that you'll need to make yourself comfy. Oh and the Queen Sized Bed is so comfortable that it makes getting out of bed every morning a way more difficult task. Location wise it couldn't be more convenient -- you've got Dolores Park as a 2 min walk away, and the Muni/Bart will take you downtown in 15 minutes. If you like good food of all types of cuisines, then you'll like the Mission District. A 3 min walk will take you to Valencia Street with local artisans and restaurants, and amazing Mexican food is around every corner. It's too bad I can't stay here for the long term, but I'll definitely be recommending Veronica's studio to anyone I know that is staying in SF!"

  • Great vacation stay!!

"We stayed at David's San Francisco home for eight nights in August. We've never stayed at such a comfortable rental! The location is very central, with a great supermarket - Lucky's - only 1 1/2 blocks away. With such a great kitchen , we stayed in for quite a few meals. It was so nice to have a quiet haven to return to after the "big" city activity. David was great to deal with; always returning e-mails very promptly. If we ever return to San Fran, we wouldn't hesitate to book this great rental."

  • Charming home in a great Lower Haight location!

"This was perfect for us! We stayed 4 nights, with two teenage boys, no rental car. We took the BART and then an Uber from the airport, arriving late afternoon. The house was easy to find and the access directions that I received via email were good (tip: use the main entrance and not the stairs in the garden, especially if you have luggage :) Having separate rooms for the kids sure is better than them sharing a bed in a hotel- especially after a long day of "togetherness" on vacation. Super comfy beds. We were able to easily order food in when we wanted, and there were lots of cute breakfast stops within walking distance. Painted ladies are nearby, although Alamo Square park is under construction. We walked pretty much everywhere each morning (one day to Chinatown, one day to Castro/Golden Gate park, etc. and then uber'd home when we got tired. There is definitely traffic noise, but not so much that we couldn't sleep."

  • Nice apartment, great location

"My fellow grandmother and I stayed here for a month to be near our children and our brand new grandson and his 2 year old brother. The location was perfect for us - right off Cortland St - and the apartment itself was quite adequate. Since one of our primary tasks was the preparation of dinners, being so close to Good Life (wonderful local grocery store) was really a plus. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed, including some great spices left by former renters. Unfortunately, as others have noted, the futon was really not intended for sleeping on for more than a night or two. We ended up bringing in a blow up air mattress so my fellow grandmother could get a good night's sleep. Unlike the futon, the bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. We had some issues with the quality of the internet but we were too tired out by our 2 year old grandson to ever turn on the tv or try to watch Netflix so I can't speak to how it would have worked - Pandora had to buffer in order to even play music. That being said, I'm sure if we had needed more direct intervention Anya and Trent would have worked to rectify the problem. (They were very good about responding to my emails about a few other minor problems, quickly taking care of my concerns.) The outdoor space was also a real plus - though by the end of our month it needed a gardener's attention. I will certainly consider staying here in the future."
