  • Special little houseboat

"My husband and I feel blessed to have been able to stay on this very special little houseboat. From the moment you step onboard you feel it's serenity. It is well stocked with everything you need. You are a short drive to Muir Woods, the coast, San Francisco and the wine country. The floating garden is a wonderful place for morning coffee or happy hour in the evening. We loved staying there and will be back!"

  • Amazing Stay in This Magical Cottage on Bleu Bay Beach - Marshall - Tomales Bay

"What an amazing stay we had for three nights in this lovely, clean, well-appointed cottage - nothing can beat the unsurpassed views always available while cooking, BBQing, reading, listening to music, napping, soaking in the outdoor tub (we did not, however the location of this soaking tub is amazing), and listening to the sounds of the water lapping on the beach. We ventured out on long walks thru the Strauss Dairy pastures, and everywhere - the cows actually seemed to welcome our visits and posed for many photos!! The Tomales Bakery was closed during our stay, however is a MUST for anyone interested in REALLY fine bakery items. The Dungeness crab at Nick's was FRESH FRESH FRESH and completely 'over the top' delicious in the Louie salad. This, along with a bowl of clam chowder and glasses of wine made a late afternoon lunch perfect. But wait, the next day we collected oysters from Hog Island Oyster Company to BBQ back at the cottage. OMG, the whole experience of enjoying these most delicious morsels, hot off the cottage BBQ, alongside wine while sitting on the deck of the cottage - with endless views and fresh air - well, PERFECT. At times we could almost imagine Jack London joining us in the amazing historic cottage with its comfortable 'curl up' reading chair, rocker, sofas, wood floors, rugs, and gorgeous wood trimmed windows. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals - and for two 'foodies' that live to forage outstanding food, the local resources and kitchen provisions were far more than adequate. We even called ahead to make sure a coffee maker was available for the coveted cup of liquid gold in the mornings, and had an immediate response from Robert letting us know that there were two coffee makers available, including the details of their filters - AND the filters were available. PERFECT. We chose to sleep downstairs on the MOST comfortable queen sofa bed, snugged in front of the cozy fireplace, awakened by the sounds of lapping water, birds, and need we say again, THE VIEWS. There is no question that we will return - again, and again. We only hesitate to share this 'gem' to everyone we know, saving the magic of this cottage for ourselves and only those that will respect and care for this space in the manner it deserves. Thank you, Robert and Tom. Cary and Bob"

  • Dated but nice

"This home is clean and lovely. The one twin bed is a little short and on wheels so it is good for a child, not so much for a teenager. Knowing the review on the twin was helpful to me because I brought an air mattress to avoid complaints. Patricia is very pleasant and easy to work with. We enjoyed our stay at her home. We were there for a horseshow so we weren't there during the day to enjoy the town of Petaluma. If we had more time it would have been nice to walk around the town."

  • So peaceful

"We had a wonderful stay in this VRBO in Mill Valley. Perfectly set up for our 2 day stay. In fact, perfectly set up to live in full time! Very quiet with a wonderful deck and view. We even had a deer wander through the back yard at one point. An easy enjoyable walk to downtown as long as you don't mind some stairs. Would have changed nothing about our stay. Perfect!"
