  • Nice house with beautiful view

"We really appreciated our stay at Dan's place. It is located in a gorgeous neighborhood on a hill and offers a beautiful view on Sausalito Bay. The house was well equipped, there was even a blender! The fridge could be replaced as it was quite noisy. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot and with a good water pressure. The house was cold and humid as we are in October so it would have been nice to have the heater on. Fortunately, there was a fireplace, so we heated like in old times. For city dwellers like us, it was nice to make fires. I would recommend this place which is a good holiday home with a style a bit outdated that reminded me my childhood."

  • Comfortable Cottage for a Perfect Getaway

"We had two lovely nights here. Peaceful, placid and completely relaxing. The setting is magnificent; literally on Tomales Bay. The cottage is cozy and well appointed. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking even the most substantial meal. If you enjoy birding, you'll be spending a lot of time on the back deck watching loons, cormorants, pelicans, rafting ducks, hawks and gulls. The passing seals and otters are a treat too. We stayed put for most of our stay, but it's good to know you're 5 minutes from Nick's Cove and 10 from Hog Island Oyster Farm. Be sure to check out the Palace Market in Pt. Reyes Station. Great for stocking the cottage's fridge and pantry for your stay, and lunch at Osteria Stellina in Pt. Reyes Station is required."

  • I love Stinson Beach and this charming cottage!

"My adult daughter and I stayed here for two nights to explore the coast before heading into the hills of wine country. This place really felt like home. The beds were quite comfy, and the kitchen was great! I am a chef, so know my way around a kitchen. LOL! However, other than breakfast, we really didn't cook because that was why I was on vacation - to let someone else cook for me. The little town of Stinson Beach is quite small, and has a tiny grocery store, but we were surprised at the quality way it was stocked! It seriously looked about the size of a gas station convenience store, but was so wonderful. Guacamole and salsa were stellar as were organic cheeses and produce! The cottage is a very short walk down a cute little path to the beach, and of course close to town. We had such an incredible dinner at the Parkside Cafe, we went back for breakfast! It was also fantastic. As we explored the coast, we stopped at a place right on the highway just north of Stinson Beach, called Tony's. Oysters Bingo might be the best oyster dish I have ever had in my life. It was their version of Oysters Rockefeller and simply delicious. Their shrimp and crab ceviche was unique in presentation and also yummy. Crab was in season, so one day we ate it for breakfast, lunch and dinner! I would definitely stay here again. The location is perfect for someone who doesn't wish to stay right in San Francisco, but wants to explore Muir Woods, and the charming coastal towns like Bolinas."

  • Gorgeous little houseboat with heaps of character

"Loved our stay... we used to sit on the little deck and watch the comings and goings of boats and seals... Good restaurants within walking distance and bus or ferry to San Francisco. A definate goer for anyone who wants time out, but still the option of coming and going to tourist attractions. Not luxurious, but quaint and an unforgettable experience. Vanda is a wonderful hostess, she stocked the fridge with gourmet treats and even some bubbly!"
