"I travel for 3 months at a time, working at different hospitals across the USA. I used Arnie and his rental for my 3 month stay, while working at UC Davis. My drive was 15 minutes each morning and 20 on my way home. The amenities and apartment were exactly what I was looking for. Arnie was easy to get ahold of, if any problems arose, and great to talk with. I would highly suggest using Arnie and this apartment. 2 bedrooms with a bathroom. Beautiful little back yard/patio. Pots, pans, sheets, towels, and any other ordinary day need provided. On weekends it was a 2 hour drive to Lake Tahoe. Or 2 hours to San Francisco. 5 stars!!"

  • A magical retreat

"Stayed here for a family celebration and all of us, from toddler to middle schooler to grandparents alike, were so smitten with this place. It was filled with great books, a few great toys, and the kitchen items of my dreams (the best rental kitchen I've ever encountered). I spent much of my time fantasizing about my own family living there--it was so comfortable and tasteful and perfect. We ate outside, played on the rope swing, cooked up numerous feasts, and even played tennis down the road! Margaret was a pleasure to communicate with. Couldn't recommend more highly!"

  • Beautiful property, wonderfully accommodating host.

"We stayed at the Villa Bacchus guest house for a week to celebrate our anniversary and explore the wine region. The guest house is on an absolutely stunning property, and the details were perfect. Joshua was an amazing host and truly went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. The property is about 15 minutes from Sonoma square and in Glen Ellen so you get to enjoy the quaintness of the town. Perfect for those who want a unique experience and enjoy being a bit tucked away allowing you to see a whole sky full of stars at night."

  • Great Get Away

"We've been to Napa and Sonoma several times and this had to be the most relaxing stay we've had thanks to Kenwood Cottage. We had a great stay at the Kenwood Cottage and highly recommend it if you're looking for a comfortable and quiet space to unwind for a few days. The home is thoughtfully appointed for guests who want to move right in and not have to worry about a thing. The kitchen is nicely stocked with the basics (including spices, and coffee!) and the bathroom and bedrooms are comfortable and well-kept. It's clear that the owners care for the property from the moment you enter the gated driveway and see the beautifully manicured lawn and gardens. The back deck and patio lead to the Adobe Canyon Creek and we enjoyed mornings and evenings listening to the stream and the beautiful flowers and natural surroundings. The house is also conveniently located. It's a short drive or bike to the opening of the park and you can enjoy several hikes around the Bald Mountain area. The owners also provide a set of recommendations for dining and shopping in the area so that you can can act like a local. We used several of their recommendations to good results. The nearby wineries that they recommended had nice tasting rooms (and good wine!) and everything from grocery to gas to dining options was a short drive away. Highly recommend."
