  • Outstanding Rental

"What a fantastic and well-located home! My wife, in-laws, and I stayed with our 1 year-old son. There was plentiful street parking on the quiet block for easy access in and out. The house itself is beautifully decorated and was very comfortable for our group of 5. There is a spacious dining room table as well as a giant table on the back patio so we could always hang out together. We especially enjoyed dining and lounging on the shady patio, which was the perfect temperature even on hot afternoons. The patio has nice lighting for continued enjoyment after dark as well. The Olympics Opening Ceremony looked great on the 60-inch TV! Finally, the Sonoma Plaza is an easy 10-15 minute stroll away. Next time (sans child), we hope to check out the Hopmonk Tavern just down the street, which features a beer garden and live music and was bustling every night! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

  • Great Escape 3

"Our group of 8 had our third visit to the Perch this fall. Everything was fantastic as usual, with a new pool/hot tub and remodeled bathrooms providing additional comfort. With an extensive kitchen, we chose to eat dinners at the house and enjoy the deck, hot tub and incredible view. The Owners have always been extremely helpful and easy to work with. Already looking forward to our next visit."

  • Heavenly Haven

"We spent an amazing week at Phoenix Nest! We fell in love with this beautiful home as soon as we found it on VRBO and although the photos are an accurate depiction of the home, it took our breath away as soon as we walked in the door and were stunned by the 180 degree panoramic view of the Peninsula and the ocean from the many floor to ceiling windows. The home is warm, welcoming, comfortable and extremely well appointed. Everything we needed was available and more. Pat has seen to every detail. We were two couples and the home was a perfect fit, as we are nature lovers -- we couldn't stop "ooing and ahing". We loved the cacophony of seals and sea lions that became the background music for our stay. The decorating is lovely and there are many unique pieces of art throughout the home to be enjoyed. We loved having our morning coffee, afternoon cocktail and stargazing at night on the deck. The kitchen is extremely well appointed and every detail provided for. The home is also impeccably clean. Pat is extremely responsive and was spot on with her recommendations for dining and touring. We highly recommend St. Orres, Trinks and Uneda Eat for dinner and Trinks for their amazing pastries as well!!! We also visited the Anderson Valley AVA which made for an enjoyable day of visiting wineraries. One of the highlights of our week (there are too many to list) was our day spent out on Haven's Neck, the private peninsula -- just breathtaking and so satisfying to know that it has been designated as a nature preserve, as it is a unique habitat. There had to be upwards of 500 seals and sea lions occupying the North Beach and we were able to explore the South beach with its many shells and driftwood. And...we can't forget the hot tub which is perfectly situated for use either during the day or at night. We can only hope to return someday to this little piece of heaven!"

  • Quiet, comfortable, clean

"This property is in the woods in Aptos. The location is wonderfully quiet, a 10-minute drive from beautiful hiking, a close drive to Santa Cruz. Two pluses for us were the inviting seating area near the kitchen and the attractive comfortable bedrooms. Our family spent many enjoyable hours chatting in the family room, and everyone slept well. The pizza oven in the back yard was a fun adventure. We had delicious fire-baked pizzas for Saturday breakfast (remember to bring wood.) The kitchen/eating area were very practical for a large family and provided an area to play late-night games. The owners were very responsive and positive. We are already discussing a return to this beautiful property."
