  • Incredible. We'll be back!

"Our big family rents a vacation home every year, this time for New Years at the Sea Filly house in Dillon Beach. This was our favorite by far. The house is enormous, tons of space and fun was had by all, ages 2-60+. The guys got a ton of use out of the game room/movie theater and played pool every day. We all piled in on the lounge chairs for movies and appreciated the size of the huge dining table for the many board games we played all weekend. The kitchen was huge and had enough space for everybody to stand around and talk while cooking. The beds are extra comfortable and the place is just beautifully decorated. The only negative part of the experience was that we didn't spend enough time there! Next time we will stay longer. Working with this property management company was such a great experience. They answered all questions leading up to our stay and provided everything we needed and more. Thank you Randy, we would love to come back!"

  • Fun family gathering

"We were very pleased with this beach house. It is more spacious than the pictures show. It accommodated the nine of us very well. The cottage out back is cute, but all the adults thought the bed was not comfortable so we put the young adults out there. They seem to be comfortable. We had fun playing bocci ball in the backyard and having the girls win! The view is spectacular and the walking path along the ocean is a fun walk and fun to people watch. The kitchen is well supplied (although, more wine glasses could be provided, we bought some small plastic glasses). We had Thanksgiving there and we were able to cook the entire meal with what they had in the kitchen (we did bring our own roasting pan). I would recommend having a couple more chairs for the kitchen table as it is a "L" shaped bench seating. We were able to manage, as there were only nine of us for one night, the other nights there were seven of us. It was very clean and kept up. The two full bathrooms have nice walk in showers and are big. Before our arrival, I had to call or text the owner a couple of times and he was always nice and returned calls. We would recommend this comfortable house to rent."

  • Seashell

"We stayed at Seashell retreat during Xmas holidays for 4 days. We rented both complex for 7 people. Location was great as it was close to shopping, Grocery store and Beach. We played games, walked the whole town. Perfect relaxing vacation spot. Owner was very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this house to any one."

  • Spacious, Comfortable Central City Apartment

"We had a bit of trouble getting into our apt, since the dropbox keys did not work in the back gate. We initially had some trouble with the front door but with some wiggling, we were successful. Marilyn told me that the keys were in fact new, since the last renters had lost both. After the first entry we just used the keypad lock on the front door rather than the deadbolt. The apt is great. It is quite spacious with charming 1800s decor. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were large. Even the twin bed is charming. There were no dressers, so we just lived out of our luggage, propped on chairs. No problem. The kitchen, also very large and comfortable had fairly dated cabinets and sink but the appliances were fairly new. It was well stocked with appliances, utensils, dishes, pots and pans. We made a full Christmas dinner for seven people and we were not bumping into each other. There was a table for 4 in the kitchen and another in the living room. I love the table in the corner turret window. We can see the edge of Alamo Square Park from this window. Two large TVs are located in the living room and master bedroom. The heat works fine and there are additional portable heaters for each room, but we only used the one in the master bedroom. The furniture is comfortable and in good repair. The single bathroom is clean, fairly modern and well stocked with thick fluffy towels. There is plenty of hot water for showers--we took 3 in a row with no problems. The WiFi was easy to access but not very strong (1 bar). The location was perfect for us, very close to our daughter's apartment, with a Safeway, CVS and good transportation within several blocks. Since the house is at the top of a small hill, every direction is down. A bottle of wine was waiting for us. Nice touch. I was a bit dismayed at the lack of local information (bus routes, post box location, food and drug store locations, restaurant recommendations, tour guide books, etc). We have a rental vacation house ourselves and provide our renters with a 3-ring binder with this info. It took a fair amount of searching to find what little there was (just a TV channel list) The traffic noise is significant. My daughters who live in NYC and DC were not bothered at all but those of us from more peaceful abodes found it initially difficult to sleep. I later bought some disposable earplugs at the drug store and problem solved. Marilyn was great. I will definitely return."
