  • great stay in cow hollow

"Ann was very easy to work with. The description was accurate and the location was excellent. We were able to walk to Fisherman's wharf, AT and T ball field and many shops and restaurant. I would highly recommend staying at this house."

  • Close to the beach, this home has a great layout and vibe!

"Nancy was a great hostess. She made sure that we had everything that we needed to check in, and upon arrival, there was a binder with further information about the area. The home is basically on the beach...so close! When you walk in, you're in the living area. On one side of the living area is a bedroom with a full bath and washer dryer in it and on the other side of the living area is the kitchen and then the master bedroom with a full bath in it. It was perfect for our family of 4...and Nancy even provided a pack-n-play for us so that we didn't have to rent one or figure out the sleeping situation for our newborn :) I would definitely stay here again. Oh, and she refunded my deposit less than 12 hours from check-out. Highly recommend!"

  • Wonderfully romantic and charming

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the Lonestar. It was magical falling asleep on the water and even more magical waking up in the beautiful Sausalito harbor and eating breakfast on the dock. The house boat is very comfortable, beautifully decorated and contains many fascinating objects. It is also in a great location - on the water, away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy parts of Sausalito. Although downtown Sausalito is not too far - a bike ride or long walk away. It is only a couple of blocks away from restaurants and a supermarket, and on the tourist bus route. We loved walking on the docks and viewing the other interesting house boats."

  • Hidden riverfront gem! Step back in time!

"Beautiful riverfront property tucked away down a dirt road just miles from the coast. Enter the gated property into the the beautiful gardens, and a magical little home awaits you. The acre property is completely fenced, which is great for kids and dogs, and has very mature trees and landscaping. It's a private oasis. The house is perfect for a family to vacation at with open kitchen, comfortable living room stocked with games and books, and two bedroom (that are connected) and 1.5 baths. The deck is perfect for BBQing and dining outdoors and the patio has a gas fire pit for sitting around and enjoying company, a glass of wine and a few too many s'mores! The river is right behind the property and there is a gate so dogs and kids can't freely run into the river at their whim. 😉 There are two kayaks and a canoe and many life vests. The river is wide and deep behind the house for great canoeing and kayaking, with a picturesque view to enjoy from the dock. (No river views from the home, the view is of the magistical trees with complete privacy, but the river is directly behind the property). The tiny town is only a short walk down the dirt road with a great coffee shop/bakery, candy store, post office, general store, a few galleries and little shops and 2 restaurants. We highly recommend this home for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. Life slows down in Duncan Mills to a beautiful pace and this riverfront home captures it perfectly."
