  • Beautiful relaxing setting

"The perfect place to enjoy nature. A beautiful running river just out the back door. The home was clean and well stocked. Michael was a pleasure to work with, he even had a fire going to warm up the house when we arrived. The beds are comfy. Only issue as mentioned in other reviews is there is no bathroom on the upper floor for the two bedrooms that are up there, and you have to go thru the first bedroom on the lower floor to reach the second bedroom. Depending on who your traveling with this would be the only thing to consider but the location is well worth these potential inconveniences. Great location if traveling up to see Mt. Lassen too."

  • Great Location, incredible sunsets.

"I stayed in Graeagle for the Labor Day weekend and really enjoyed the townhouse, every evening around 630 I would grab my 4iron,6,8,pw and putter and walk to the 6th hole and play 6,7 and 8. The 8th green is about 150 yards from the townhouse and I could do that loop 2 or 3 times. I would see quite a few people out walking on the cart paths putting or chipping on the greens ,you basically get free super twilight golf because its the front nine nobody is playing it after 5:00 or so you don't have any groups coming through. If you love golf , you would be stoked staying here, we also did a lot of fishing in the small lake/pond in the back yard, they have signs that say no fishing but a lot of people were doing it so we did too. The townhouse was basically what we expected, nice place, plenty of room for a large group, bbq on the back deck, killer sunsets, geese and ducks swimming in the lake, very peaceful and relaxing, and even if you don't golf you would enjoy just taking a nice evening walk out on the course and watch all the deer trotting around."

  • Perfect location and accommodations

"Our fly fishing group was very happy with the cabin. It is spacious, rustic, and has all necessary amenities. It took us about one hour to get from the cabin to the Ah-Di-Na campground on the McCloud primarily because there is a 7 mile stretch of dirt road that has to be negotiated carefully. If you are coming from points South you can fish the Upper Sac on your way to McCloud."

  • Delightful Woodland Retreat!!

"First timers, not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised. Cabin had plenty of space for all 7 of us, included 77 year old active grandma! Enjoyed having coffee and a bagel on the rear deck every morning, actually had the privilege of seeing a dear pass through the property one morning. Kitchen was fully stocked with plates, pots, pans, coffee machines, everything you use at home for daily living. Having 3 kids and spending lots of time at the river produces lots of dirty clothes but it was a breeze because I was able to do my laundry at the cabin. We had dinner together every night which was wonderful because when we vacation at hotels you tend to eat out a lot which can be very expensive. Also, hotel continental breakfasts are during certain hours, at the cabin, after a long night playing games and just enjoying family time, it did not matter what time we woke up, we were able to have our coffee and bagel at our time! Trust me, our family has done it all, camping in tents, hotels, motels, rv's....this has it all beat!!! You want a real restful vacation away from the crazy city life, looking for peace or a place to unwind.....look no have just stumbled on to a little peace of heaven!"
