  • Tranquil Scenic Nest in the Woods

"We enjoyed Jean's hospitality and loved meeting her dog Bear and grandchild. She steered us in the right direction with things to do on such a short stay. We loved the quiet nights and exploring the nearby creek and roasting smores at the fireplace. The place is so spacious inside with lots of reading material, board and card games, and a full working kitchen to have a family of 4 all cooking. The kids loved using the cart to bring items down to the yurt. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept really well. Regards, John, Steph, Isabel, and Caelin From : Mill Valley, CA"

  • Great family reunion!

"Over the 2015 Christmas holiday our extended families from Oregon and California met at the Quincy House. We rented the entire house for four couples, two of which had children 1.5 - 4 years old: 12 people in all. There were plenty of large bedrooms for all the couples and the chidren. The two kitchens (one each on the first and second floors) included a nice breakfast space and were well stocked with pots, pans, dinnerware and a modest amount of spices, salt, etc. The flats were spacious and included two nice bathrooms on each floor and one in the attic. The rental agent was attentive to us at check-in and called throughout to make sure we were comfortable. There was only one heater in the living room of each flat, and we were initially concerned about the bedrooms being sufficiently heated (the night time temperatures dropped to 17F). But the heating was not a problem and the bedrooms were warm (with plenty of extra blankets available!). Over all, we were very pleased with our stay and will consider it again. For improvement we suggest providing dish racks on drain boards to make washing/drying easier. Also, the oven temperature in Flat 2 (second story) seemed low - it might need adjustment."

  • Beautiful, Cozy... Perfection!

"My family and I stayed here 5 nights, we could have easily stayed longer! From the moment we walked into the home we were greeted with a beautifully decorated and clean home! The game table and kayak were a definite bonus. We spent our days hiking and playing at mills pond just a couple minutes from the home. Our evenings were spent eating dinnes together on the back deck and taking in all the beautiful trees that surrounded the home. We had nightly visits from the deer who we named Ella. Our vacation couldn't have been more peaceful. Krista was a delight to do business with she was so helpful and easy to talk to. We are already looking forward to coming back to Graeagle and staying in this beautiful home again. Thank you Krista for sharing your space with us!"
