  • Great property to rent! Close to Sugarloaf Marina

"We rented this lovely home over Memorial Day Weekend 2016. We are boaters and moored our boat at Sugarloaf so this home was a perfect location. Easy walking distance down to the Marina for the morning walk to check and wipe down the boat :) I love the bear theme great real life photos and pictures of bears throughout the home as well as cute lodge display and decor throughout the home. The house is well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen, bath towels, extra bedding, etc. Weber grill worked great! Nice outdoor table and chairs for outdoor dining. Great indoor kitchen table, Comfortable living room and the big screens throughout the home are also an unexpected surprise. The downstairs has a separate entry which makes it nice if you have a dual group or if you want some privacy we thought it was an excellent layout! Master and 2nd bedroom upstairs; huge junior suite downstairs with separate entry. Our first morning we woke up to a baby buck on the deck so cute! I would highly recommend this home for rent the owners are very professional to work with and we would rent again! Elaine Gesik-Nusser"

  • Comfortable, relaxing location

"The Shasta Lodge is in a serene, beautiful location. The house has well styled, comfortable furnishings and linens that suited our group well. The twin beds in one room were so appreciated by our young men! We especially enjoyed the lighted bocce court, and the covered deck with the views. We had several deer visit us in the morning and evening. A bonus for us was hearing the band from across the lake on Saturday night. It was definitely not loud enough to disturb, just a pleasure from the back deck. The windows and the large ceiling fan make the air conditioning virtually unnecessary. This trip we had wake boarders and tubers that wanted to go out several times throughout the day, making the location the ONLY negative. The Lodge is about 30 minutes from Sugarloaf or Antler's Marina."

  • Dream View Heaven Exactly

"My husband and I came up for a simple get away - and this was more than expected. The pics were spot on, so no disappointment what so ever! The home itself was very nicely appointed,; all that we needed to cook our first meal, (as we were pretty tired upon arrival.) The property is so easy to find, but yet tucked away. The views are not to be believed and the quiet was just that. We just sat in our chairs and didn't say a word. The little deer family visited us every evening and in the morning. Another delight. Ken was right there as he said and could walk us through any questions. The property was so well maintained and managed, didn't need anything else. We have gone to many other VRBO locations, but this was a little dream - we will be back! and so will our friends. Thank you again Ken."
