  • Gorgeous location, peaceful, relaxing, well-equiped house!

"What a fantastic property! The first thing we noticed was the quiet - so peaceful that we could easily hear the Trinity river about 100 yards away. The first evening a doe and her fawn casually strolled through the front yard. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. The clothes washer and dryer were a bonus. Being August the weather was a little warm, but the house was nice and cool. We watched the Perseid meteor shower and some deer came right up behind us. Weaverville is an easy drive for groceries and restaurants. Truly a gem, we can't wait to visit again in Fall for the autumn colors."

  • Delightful Woodland Retreat!!

"First timers, not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised. Cabin had plenty of space for all 7 of us, included 77 year old active grandma! Enjoyed having coffee and a bagel on the rear deck every morning, actually had the privilege of seeing a dear pass through the property one morning. Kitchen was fully stocked with plates, pots, pans, coffee machines, everything you use at home for daily living. Having 3 kids and spending lots of time at the river produces lots of dirty clothes but it was a breeze because I was able to do my laundry at the cabin. We had dinner together every night which was wonderful because when we vacation at hotels you tend to eat out a lot which can be very expensive. Also, hotel continental breakfasts are during certain hours, at the cabin, after a long night playing games and just enjoying family time, it did not matter what time we woke up, we were able to have our coffee and bagel at our time! Trust me, our family has done it all, camping in tents, hotels, motels, rv's....this has it all beat!!! You want a real restful vacation away from the crazy city life, looking for peace or a place to unwind.....look no further...you have just stumbled on to a little peace of heaven!"

  • A great place to stay

"Our stay in the stone house was really enjoyable. The house is very comfortable and spacious, the kitchen had everything you could want (except, be sure to buy some packets for the coffee maker), parking was easy, the location was perfect (right downtown and walking distance to a grocery store), it was quiet, and we loved the record player with wonderful old records to play. I would stay again and recommend this house to those visiting."

  • Very cozy and comfortable flat

"This place is very charming. The beds and furniture was very comfortable and very clean. Although the property is located on Main Street you really couldn't hear the traffic which was nice. We will certainly stay hear again and will recommend to our friends."
