  • Exactly as described

"Stayed for one week and found the place exactly as described. It was easy to find even though arrived late at night in the rain, with good signage to the place, as it is close to a winery and river access point. Lizzie was responsive to my calls as I needed some instructions on using the cable TV. Caught some nice steelhead on a guided float trip through the Fly Shop in Redding. Tried wade fishing around the place, which is close to the river, but no luck there. The Trinity River fishing was unusually challenging this year, go figure....Steelhead! I would recommend this place to others."

  • Beautiful location, tastefully done, well-appointed vacation home.

"We rented this home for our extended family to spend the New Years weekend this year, and really enjoyed!our stay. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and eat our meals and stay in as it was snowing. The dining table is huge and so unique! The outside seating area was very nice too, lots of firewood provided. The owners were very responsive to all our queries. We would love to come back in summer and do some hiking and river activities here. Our last morning of the stay, we woke up early to no water and electricity, and we could not contact the owners, so we left a VM and had to pack out bag and leave early. It looked like the area had some local shutdown due to snow. It would have been nice to have some back up arrangement at least for water!"

  • Delightful Woodland Retreat!!

"First timers, not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised. Cabin had plenty of space for all 7 of us, included 77 year old active grandma! Enjoyed having coffee and a bagel on the rear deck every morning, actually had the privilege of seeing a dear pass through the property one morning. Kitchen was fully stocked with plates, pots, pans, coffee machines, everything you use at home for daily living. Having 3 kids and spending lots of time at the river produces lots of dirty clothes but it was a breeze because I was able to do my laundry at the cabin. We had dinner together every night which was wonderful because when we vacation at hotels you tend to eat out a lot which can be very expensive. Also, hotel continental breakfasts are during certain hours, at the cabin, after a long night playing games and just enjoying family time, it did not matter what time we woke up, we were able to have our coffee and bagel at our time! Trust me, our family has done it all, camping in tents, hotels, motels, rv's....this has it all beat!!! You want a real restful vacation away from the crazy city life, looking for peace or a place to unwind.....look no have just stumbled on to a little peace of heaven!"
