  • Beautiful home with an excellent view of the mountains off the back deck.

"This is a beautiful house capable of sleeping 6 people easily and room for more. Well appointed kitchen, great for family cooking and meals. The views are astonishing. My wife said our trip was the best vacation she has ever had. We had one slight problem that was fixed immediately so the owner is very responsive to any issues. Graeagle has three world class golf courses within ten miles (one off the back deck). Four quality restaurants equivalent to anything Tahoe has without the crowds. A perfect place for those who enjoy golf, hiking and scenic views."

  • Property was as advertised. It was great for our needs, relaxing, swimming, floating, enjoying the

"The carriage house is as described which is a major plus. Everything was laid back and comfortable. River access is a major plus for us, including our dog Maggie Spaniel. We would stay again. Our hosts were very helpful and responded quickly to some technical issue with the internet. The location works well for touring the area and is close enough to Weaverville if you need your civilization fix."

  • Thanksgiving Getaway

"Our family spent Thanksgiving week at his beautiful cozy home. We had a wonderful relaxing week. The home is close to Lassen and local wineries. We visited Subway caves, Hat Creek, and a portion of Lassen. Most of the roads we closed beyond the visitor center due to snow. We had a couple of days of rain that turned to light snow which was a real treat and gave our get away that festive holiday feel. Michael was at the cabin to meet us and he had a warm fire going upon our arrival. The home was cozy and inviting in every way. The kitchen appliances made making meals so easy. I cooked a traditional Thanksgiving meal without any problems. The tableware and utinsels were stylish and plentiful making our Thanksgiving meal very special. We loved being able to hear the creek throughout the day and evening. It was very cold so we kept the fire in the fireplace going while we were inside the home. The upper floor was very warm, so we had to leave one of the windows in the bedroom cracked a bit to let in a little cool air. We were not able to use the outdoor grill or furniture due to rain but even without that, this place was so nice. We did however use the outdoor fire pit to make smores. We had Internet access and phone all of which worked very well and kept our teens and young adults happy in the evenings. Overall this was a perfect getaway location."
