  • Great property! Would stay again!

"We had a fabulous weeekend in Napa at this property. While the layout and decor in the house is a little dated it was clean and comfortable. Bonus points for the hotib and backyard which are fabulous!! I would definitely stay here again!"

  • Great house for families

"This property is great for families. We had 3 couples and a two year old. So with 2 separate living areas, it was perfect. Much better than a hotel for an extended family traveling together. The home is clean, updated and well maintained. It overlooks a creek and a vineyard - the perfect view in Napa! The patio and pool areas are wonderful. The laundry facilities on site are great. Perfectly located - easy access to highway I would highly recommend this property to any of my friends and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."

  • Perfect for our group

"We were in town for my daughter's wedding and The Chelsea Garden Inn was perfect for our group of ten. From the start, Susan the owner, was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The Inn caretaker Jennifer was very sweet and helpful too. The photos do not do the place justice, it is much bigger than they portray. We felt completely at home there and had plenty of room for our group. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you'd need to make yourself comfortable - coffee maker, dishes, etc. The social room was perfect for us to gather and hangout. It was the ideal place to relax and unwind after busy days filled with activities. We loved the fact that we were so close to town, the grocery store is two short blocks away. It was convenient to be that close to the restaurants and shops too. We stayed for four night and didn't want to leave! We LOVED the pool area, another place to gather and settle back with a cold beverage. We used the pool a lot because it was very hot when we we there. The outdoor area is roomy with many loungers and seats and we enjoyed the whimsical decor and gardens. Each suite was perfect for our guests, we had privacy when we wanted it and could socialize when we wanted. This setting was perfect for us. As the Mother the Bride, nerves were on edge but the comfort of The Chelsea Garden Inn made the trip much more enjoyable. Thank you for helping me make this major life event less stressful because of your wonderful Inn. I want to come back next year!!"

  • Amazing, great location!

"This rental has everything you need! It was a lovely place to stay and if we came back to the napa area would definitely contact Janet. We came for the 4th of July (our 6th year wedding anniversary). We were extremely grateful for the military discount, not only was it nice they offered one, but it was also nice they acknowledged our question regarding it (the only owners that did - all of our other inquiries COMPLETELY ignored the question. If you don't offer one, that's fine, but it's annoying if you ignore the question as if it were never asked). Janet seemed to genuinely be excited to have a military family stay at her home for the 4th and I have to say I don't think we would have had a better time anywhere else. The house was in a great location - near walmart, gas, shopping, but not right there in the hustle and bustle. 5 minutes from the wine train (which I'd highly recommend to ANYONE - we did the dinner train for the 4th of July and enjoyed fireworks without having to park or deal with crowds. The house had everything we needed to cook, bake and grill (my dad's an amazing chef & my mom makes a mean lasagna!) The usb plugs in the back of the alarm clock were very convenient and the helpful notes around the house were nice. The house was extremely clean and we have no complaints. I guess the only thing that we could have used was a scale (to weigh our wine case - to see if we were over weight, ha) but other than that, plenty of towels and cooking gadgets. The coffee maker is the fancy expresso kurig so regular kurigs don't work (might recommend a note for that - we bought the wrong kind). She has a nice set up for dogs too and everything you need minus the food. We sure hope to get stationed in California sometime during my husbands career and who knows many next time we'll be able to bring our little munchkins. :)"
