  • What a gem!

"We were looking for a dog-friendly place in Sonoma and stumbled upon this secluded hideaway. We stayed 2 nights and would have liked to have lingered longer. The grounds are well-kept, the facilities perfectly in order, and the vibe is unbeatable. Bring your provisions as you don't want to have to head down the road because you forgot some milk or whatnot. In fact, that's really the only downside I can find-- if you wanted to get to town its a bit sketchy on an unfamiliar one lane road at night--but there's really no reason to leave! We hope to visit again in the future."

  • Spectacular Grounds and Ideal for Families

"We came here with 2 other families for Memorial Day Weekend and could not have been more delighted by the house and grounds. The photos truly do not do this property justice - the yard is absolutely stunning with huge expanses of grass surrounding the pool, beautiful trees, vineyards all around. It was lovely. There is a beautiful pool and more than enough space for the kids to run and play, not to mention the sport court, tetherball, bocce and putting area. The house was stocked better than most rentals with everything you need in the kitchen, a few pool floats and lots of sporting equipment. We had 6 adults and 7 kids ranging from 2.5 years old to 10 and all of them had an absolute ball, not to mention the layout of the house felt spacious enough to accommodate everyone with no one feeling cramped. The location is also fabulous and close to many wineries, restaurants, etc. Honestly, we didn't have any complaints and hope to rent this house again in the future. It was the perfect spot!"

  • Lovely home

"We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Very cozy and comfortable. Two comments: We did not have access to the washer/dryer. One of the main reasons we rent a home is to have all the conveniences of home and that includes a washer/dryer. We ended up finding a laundromat about 20 minutes away. So not convenient. This is the first time we've run into this issue and have rented 20+ homes all over the US. Also, please provide more than one wash cloth per guest if people are staying more than one night. Don't mind reusing a towel, but would appreciate a clean washcloth each day. The parking was very difficult with a full size SUV. Especially backing out! Scary!"

  • Lovely vineyard cottage

"The cottage Casa Dell' Uva is a beautiful getaway location, located just seven miles from the heart of Napa Valley and is a beautifully maintained property. Our family and friends loved to gather in the great room, watching TV, hanging out, cooking and eating some tasty food we paired with the yummy wines we got in the valley. The coffee pot never seemed to stop as we had a few big coffee achievers with us. Surrounded by many large trees, we were able to look out on the Patterson's vineyards and take walks down the quite lane to the forest and access the trails for some nice hikes. The three bedrooms were beautifully appointed and the beds were comfortable as well. Our plans changed shortly before our vacation and we brought an entirely different group of friends and family so we'll have to return with the original couple we planned on meeting there. Looking forward to trying the cottage during the spring when everything is in bloom! The cottage is situated in Angwin, about 1300' above sea level so when you leave, it's a 7 mile down hill drive to St Helena. We were able to stock up on food at a Safeway supermarket and shop in St Helena. My wife and her friends hit up a very cute consignment shop in town and supported the local economy there and at other little shops on the main street. There are great shops and restaurants all along the street, very cute though a tad pricey. Loved our time in the cottage and visiting the local wineries and am looking forward to a return visit."
