  • Gem of a home in wine country

"This rental is a hidden gem in Calistoga on the border of St. Helena. It is impeccably well decorated and comfortable. It feels very new and like we could move in forever. My husband was ready to buy the place! It will be our go-to place to stay each time we visit Napa Valley. It is a gated home surrounded by vineyards and with views of the sunset over the mountains and vineyards each night. You can see Castello di Amorosa across the valley so if you didn't know better you'd think you were in a little place in Tuscany complete with medieval castle in the distance. The unit is a lovely studio above a garage and is very quiet. No noisy neighbors like at a hotel. The studio is nicely divided by a see-through fireplace so the living room and kitchen feel separate from the extremely comfortable and plush bedroom and exquisitely designed bathroom. Every wall has windows that when shades are raised let in lovely sunshine and have views of vein surfs and mountains on all sides of the unit. We used the practically brand new grill by the relaxing pool and bocce court for dinner and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The pool was small but perfect for cooling off on hot Napa Valley days. There is a nice grocery store with essentials and gourmet cheese, butcher and wine of course in Calistoga about 10 minutes away. We enjoyed Failla, Schramsberg, Rombauer and Duckhorn all within 10 minutes as well. St. Helena was a cute small town with local shops and great restaurants about 15 minutes away. We also took a Saturday cooking class at the Culinary Institute of America Greystone just 8 minutes away. Perfect stay! Towels, sheets all included but bring your own food and drinks for the unit."

  • Quaint, quiet and charming studio

"A very clean, quiet and private studio that was comfortable. Aya was pleasant to coordinate with. I was in need of a safe, convenient location for the Santa Rosa area and this indeed met my needs."

  • Great stay in Sonoma

"What a great cozy house to stay in if visiting in the Sonoma area. Four adults in our family stayed 3 nights here in March and were very pleased with the accommodations and had plenty of room, even with the one bathroom. The house is very clean, actually spotless, and the décor is beautiful. Reservations, communications prior and during our visit with the owners was very easy, they promptly replied to emails or text messages when we had a question. The beds were very comfortable and the linens and bath towels were plush and top of the line and I loved the pillows! I loved the way the main part of the house is upstairs and when looking out the windows you were overlooking everything. I could see if you have mobility problems getting up and down steps this could be a problem, but it was fine for us. The stairs going up are a little narrow when taking in your luggage but they were manageable. The keyless entry system was nice not having to keep up with keys, there is also a deadbolt lock so when you are inside you feel very secure. The streets off the main road getting to the house are very narrow, but we had no problems. The gate at the driveway was also nice, we always closed it at night and they have motion lights outside if you came in after dark that come on to light the way to the house. Nice dishes, glasses, flatware, plastic bowls, coffee pot etc…There was not anything we needed that we didn’t have. Having coffee there to fix was a very nice feature, we didn’t have to buy it then have left overs to throw away due to flying. Great shower, water pressure and plenty of very hot water! We did not use the outdoor patio area with the grill and fire pit or the bikes or game room due to not having any extra down time, but they were a nice addition if we had more time to use them. To get to the basement to the washer, dryer and game room you had to go outside and around the house to access this area and entry was by a keypad with the same code as the main door. The property is actually in Boyer Springs, just past Sonoma, but it was just a couple of minutes to the Sonoma Square by car and we did use Uber to travel around town at night with no problems or wait time. We would stay there again if back in the area. The only recommendation I have is to use some WD-40 on the bedroom doors. If you got up in the night or early in the morning, opening the doors would wake everyone up they squeaked so loud. Overall it was wonderful!"

  • Sublime Relaxing Getaway

"What a wonderful, tranquil home away from home! The owner is most gracious and accommodating, and the property is very conveniently located, yet very quiet, providing a very comfortable solitude. After a long day biking the Napa Valley, the hot tub was a welcome relief for our sore muscles. The (outdoor) cats are sweet and made us homesick for our own three furry friends. The owner clearly has a passion for gardening, and her yards are beautiful, inviting, and make NOT relaxing impossible! The kitchen is beautiful and well-equipped, whether you wish to cook a multi-course meal or just brew your morning coffee. The house is immaculate yet cozy, with mostly hardwood floors. It is clearly a beloved home, not a constant rental, so plan to coexist with the owner's belongings. If you want peace and quiet for your Napa retreat, look no further."
