  • A Real Treasure

"My husband and I spent the month of October at Pedroni in Yountville, California. Pedroni is a house built for wine country visitors desiring a home with five star accommodations for a month long stay: an elevator to comfortable bedrooms; two bathrooms upstairs and a powder room downstairs; plenty of hot water and good water pressure; top-line kitchen appliances; a filtered water dispenser; every cable channel imaginable connected to a surround sound system, and internet wi-fi. There's even a printer with paper supplied. Outside the dining area, there's a gurgling wall fountain and off the living area through massive sliding glass doors is a trellised garden where we had our morning coffee and read our Kindles with white roses on one side and a brick oven (with oak and fruit wood supplied) atop a fireplace. Placed discretely out of sight is a spotlessly clean Weber gas grill. Pedroni is well located for walking all over the charming village of Yountville. It's an easy drive to Napa with all the stores you would need for supplies and to charming St. Helena and Calistoga. Here is what was very important to us: the representations of Pedroni on the web site are absolutely accurate. We have rented other homes in the past and found those web site contained serious misrepresentations which made for major disappointments. That was certainly not the case at Pedroni. If it is listed on the Pedroni site, you can be sure it will be there. In fact, Pedroni's web site understates its quality, amenities and convenience. Jill and Charlie are wonderful hosts who had helpful tips and made our month in Yountville both enjoyable and a warm memory."

  • Great house in a great location

"My wife and I stayed here with three other couples for a weekend of wine tasting. The location of the house, set back from the road and in the middle of a vineyard, was perfect. The house is less than five minutes from the heart of Yountville but you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. The house was spotless when we arrived and all of the furniture and linens are much nicer than what you typically find in a vacation rental. The outdoor spaces are fantastic- there is a large covered porch (perfect for your morning coffee), an outdoor fireplace, bocce ball court, pool/spa and several large dining tables. We ended up canceling our dinner reservation on our last night and picking up takeout so we could eat in the backyard. Lysa, the owner/host was incredibly helpful and flexible with us. I would recommend this house to anyone and we will certainly be back."

  • Perfect Home for My "Winecation/Playcation"!

"This beautifully appointed house was my 'home away from home' for the month of September 2015. I lovingly called it my "Winecation", as I was able to visit some of my favorite wineries, along with family and friends, over the extended period I stayed at this wonderful Yountville home. I love the Napa/Sonoma Valley areas, with the gorgeous scenery and views, so I wanted to spend an extended time enjoying it - this house provided the perfect place to enjoy not only the wineries, but some of the surrounding woods, mountains, beaches, and little towns. And, this house provided access to all of those, from minutes away to within an hour drive. The house had everything you could possibly want, so it was easy to just relax and cook (or grill) your own meals, or you could easily walk to any number of great restaurants/venues. The house is very tastefully decorated, and the beds were so comfy that each of my guests commented on how well they slept. Having 3 bedrooms, and 2 full baths made it easy for me to invite different family members and friends to come stay at different periods of time. We enjoyed sitting at the back patio table, having a grilled dinner, listening to the fountain, and enjoying each others company (along with a great bottle of wine). Many mornings, we would take a nice, long walk around the town, but there were even 2 bikes for us to use and enjoy! A maid came at the mid-way point, but the owner also has a yardman come each week - you can tell she wants the guests staying at this wonderful house to be comfortable, and taken care of - it was one of my best vacations ever! I have already booked another stay in the future. You cannot go wrong with this beautiful home, a terrific value for spending a month of relaxing fun and pleasure!!!!"

  • A great place for quiet and perfect for kids who love farms

"We visited Sonoma so I could run the Napa to Sonoma half marathon. After searching all over for a place to stay that wasn't super expensive, I found this gem. The bonus was learning it is on the race route and my family could cheer me on from the driveway! This is a lovely rental with all that you need to be comfortable. It is a farm, so be ready for some farm noises! When we go back to Sonoma, we will stay here again!!"
