  • Former Roommates Get Away in Napa

"The Monroe House in Napa was perfect for the 4 of us. It was more a 'home' than a house. We had plenty of room, especially in the living room/kitchen area. Although we did not cook very much, the updated kitchen has any utensil you might need. It was great to have 3 bedrooms and 2 baths for 4 women. The best thing about this home is definitely the backyard. You can walk outside on the deck from the master bedroom to the patio, where you can set outside for a leisurely breakfast and/or afternoon or evening wine. The entire backyard gives you a feeling of relaxation, with the water garden and the landscaping. A very quiet neighborhood and we would definitely book this home again. Ample closet space and towels were a plus, too. Although we didn't talk to or see Amy (and there was no need to as everything was clean, etc.), she was very prompt in answering emails and our questions. The weather is great in Napa in August!"

  • Pictures do not truly capture the true beauty of this wonderful home!

"We had a great stay! Eileen is a lovely hostess, welcoming and responsive. Her home is very clean, organized and well provided for. We stayed for a long. Weekend with another couple and had one of our best vacations! We are already talking about when we can come back!"

  • Perfect!

"Where to begin?! Susan has left no detail unattended. This truly feels like a home where everything you could possibly need is already there. Plenty of blankets, plenty of cookware, utensils, serving pieces in the kitchen, a charming sitting area next to the vineyard and Adirondack chairs on the front porch. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The downstairs bathroom is palatial and the upstairs bathroom is charming. Washer/dryer are a bonus! The location is also excellent - lots of dining choices within walking distance and the wine train right across the street! Susan was the most gracious hostess you can imagine. A bottle of her own wine upon arrival and so attentive. We were lucky enough to spend some time with her and she is so warm and caring. We had two (very hearty) 84 year-olds and a couple of 50 year-olds in our girls group and the home was perfect for us. Plenty of room. We will be back!!"

  • Charming

"Stayed for 4 days over Labor Day weekend. Enjoyed our stay very much. Hacienda is quirky and charming. Peaceful , rural setting. No exageration about the wildlife. Would definitely book again"
