  • Great location, great views.

"I have stayed at Bahia Retreat over the New Year's weekend/week for the last few years and we will continue to come back for a number of important reasons. The views are spectacular and varied- hills, homes, bay, and ocean. The area of landscape just outside the windows is busy with all kinds of wildlife. A very scenic trail to the beach is right nearby and the walking possibilities are endless. The house itself is arranged in a way that is very comfortable, provides areas for gathering, yet also allows the opportunity to get away too. The kitchen has always worked very well for our group and accomodates many people in the coooking process without treading on one another. Some of the fixtures and appliances are showing some age and the ravages of salt air, but it's a smal annoyance that seldom detracts from all the benefits. The owner has always been extremely flexible to accommodate our needs and responsive about any issues we've had with the house. This is porbably not the ideal house to visit with small children due to stairs, but for adults and older children, this is hard to beat. Enjoy"

  • The location is all at once stunning and relaxing.

"This property is unique in that it offers so much variety. The sitting areas provide viewing access to the very best of Salmon Creek's estuary, complete with a variety of birding opportunities, as well as a very generous amount of open surf. A very brief walk opens a wonderful gateway to miles of quiet beaches. The house sits far enough back to not keep a light sleeper awake with the waves, but close enough to not mar the view with other homes in the foreground. We have stayed in three homes in this quaint community and this property is our favorite. The only criticisms I would add are that the facility was cleverly photographed so that we did not realize the property we rented was NOT the actual house, but more of an elaborate add/on to the back porch. This meant a kitchenette rather than a kitchen and a feel of staying "outside." Additionally, there are NO windows that open to the shoreline except the dining room slider. So, if you want fresh ocean breezes and the clear sound of the surf while you sleep securely, you're out of luck."

  • Wonderful and memorable time with family.

"My wife and I booked this amazing place for four nights as a getaway vacation with our two sons and daughter-in-law. Three comfortable bedrooms, including a large master bedroom and bath, a well appointed kitchen, large dinning room table for meals and games, washer and dryer, plenty of towels, along with stunning views of the bay made for a great relaxing family getaway. I have booked many homes for vacations and weekend get-always and what you receive at Pinnacle Heights is one of the best deals on VRBO."

  • Best Nights Sleep in Months

"We loved Two Herons. It was a mere 10 minute walk to the beach. The house provided wonderful view and sounds of the ocean. The beds were amazing. I slept like a baby every night of our stay and that is unusual."
