  • Highly Recommend this property!!

"Our family and friends (8 in total) stayed at this property and the photos do not do it justice!! The home and the separate guest house and "barn" sleeping quarters were all impressive and would satisfy any discriminating traveler. Rob was wonderful and so easy to work with. Everything has been meticulously planned with this property from the well stocked pantry items to the high quality bed linens and we made many happy memories roasting s'mores, having ping pong and bocce ball tournaments and the kids of course loved the pool and hot tub. This is an exceptional value and a wonderful retreat. Do not hesitate to book this now!!"

  • Family Fun at Brambleberry

"We loved Brambleberry! It was perfect for our expanding family. We chose Brambleberry for its size, we are ten in all including a 6 months old baby, a 15 month old and a 5 year old and the fact that is was handicap accessible. Accessibility is built into this beautiful house with ramps to the driveway and to the beautiful back property. The private elevator to the second floor is quiet and in perfect working order. The shower in one master suite is a roll in. Both the first and second floor are totally accessible. We spent a week enjoying everything here. We used the pool and spa extensively. There are toys and games and many children's books. The wraparound porch saw small people race around. The small porch facing the large pool was perfect each morning for breakfast and coffee and watching the mist rise and the sun warm us up. We picked berries on the property and the adjacent road. Lots and lots of berry picking. Some of us hiked in the nearby hills and others jogged with the baby stroller. Some nights we watched the Olymoic games. Other than food shopping there is no need to ever leave Brambleberry. We Look forward to returning to this wonderful house and grounds"

  • Couldn't Be Better!

"Acorn Cottage: Private, comfortable, well-appointed with great attention to detail, yet close to all the Kenwood area wineries. Jerry and Bev are great hosts, and we enjoyed our time with them so much. We wish they lived next door! Upon our arrival there was a loaf of home-baked bread, fruit, coffee, juice, milk, beer, water, soft drinks and of course wine waiting for us, not to mention the Acorn Cottage wine glasses which were a gift for us to take home. We enjoyed the cottage so much, we spent half of our time just hanging out there enjoying the peace and quiet and view of their 500 year old oak tree, which is magnificent. Can't wait to go back."

  • Beautiful, calm and tranquil

"Many previous reviewers have described how beautiful this place is- the view from the terrace and swimming pool is simply amazing. It is up a track and a little way from the rest of civilisation so that you feel like you are far away from everything and on top of the world, but it's less than 15 mins drive to the main road shops etc. Dan and Betsy are very nice people who are generous with their time and their space- we sat each evening to eat on their terrace sipping a glass of wine ( some of it made from Dan's vineyard and very delicious!) and watching the fantastic sunsets. They are on hand to answer questions make suggestions and sort out anything quickly and efficiently. The villa has plenty of room and a great kitchen of you want to cook. If you are even beginning to consider this as a place to stay you should do it- it is special!"
