  • Great Get Away

"We've been to Napa and Sonoma several times and this had to be the most relaxing stay we've had thanks to Kenwood Cottage. We had a great stay at the Kenwood Cottage and highly recommend it if you're looking for a comfortable and quiet space to unwind for a few days. The home is thoughtfully appointed for guests who want to move right in and not have to worry about a thing. The kitchen is nicely stocked with the basics (including spices, and coffee!) and the bathroom and bedrooms are comfortable and well-kept. It's clear that the owners care for the property from the moment you enter the gated driveway and see the beautifully manicured lawn and gardens. The back deck and patio lead to the Adobe Canyon Creek and we enjoyed mornings and evenings listening to the stream and the beautiful flowers and natural surroundings. The house is also conveniently located. It's a short drive or bike to the opening of the park and you can enjoy several hikes around the Bald Mountain area. The owners also provide a set of recommendations for dining and shopping in the area so that you can can act like a local. We used several of their recommendations to good results. The nearby wineries that they recommended had nice tasting rooms (and good wine!) and everything from grocery to gas to dining options was a short drive away. Highly recommend."

  • A peaceful elegant place to stay in the middle of vineyard

"We stayed at this location for 3 days. We were party of 9 including 2 young children. The occasion was 75th birthday of my wife. The experience could not be any better. The house is very well equipped covering all the needs of guests. The children spent half of the time in large well heated pool. We had barbecue dinner near the pool the first day and a formal dinner made by personal chef. Cocktails in the garden. It was like a second wedding for us. I highly recommend this property for your next elegant get together or just a family and friends get away."

  • Paradise in Sonoma

"We rented this property to celebrate my 60th birthday. There were 10 of us at the house, including a little one. The outdoor space is what attracted us to the property and it did not disappoint. It kept everyone busy with the pool (which looked smaller then it actually is in the pictures), bocce court, hot tub and fire pit in addition to a beautiful live edge table on the stone patio. It is a very incredible location, close to several very popular wineries. We especially enjoyed La Rochelle and Kunde. The indoor space was immaculate, with a large kitchen to cook in and a media room, in which we watched the Finals NBA game 7 with the whole family. The house is very classy, yet cozy. We loved it. The house does cool down if you follow the instructions given. This was surprising, considering some days it approached 98 degrees. The only negative is the county quiet hours, which are strictly enforced. The neighbors are much closer then anticipated. It is difficult to keep track of time when you are enjoying your vacation! A great time was had by all! Virginia Scott Chesterland Ohio"

  • Beautiful, calm and tranquil

"Many previous reviewers have described how beautiful this place is- the view from the terrace and swimming pool is simply amazing. It is up a track and a little way from the rest of civilisation so that you feel like you are far away from everything and on top of the world, but it's less than 15 mins drive to the main road shops etc. Dan and Betsy are very nice people who are generous with their time and their space- we sat each evening to eat on their terrace sipping a glass of wine ( some of it made from Dan's vineyard and very delicious!) and watching the fantastic sunsets. They are on hand to answer questions make suggestions and sort out anything quickly and efficiently. The villa has plenty of room and a great kitchen of you want to cook. If you are even beginning to consider this as a place to stay you should do it- it is special!"
