  • Lane & David

"Awesome! We got spoiled with this place. Loved jumping in the heated pool after a long flight. Having everything to make breakfast and more was wonderful. Pristine and beautifully appointed. I don't get impressed easily. Comfortable bed, large bathroom and kitchen with everything you would want in a kitchen. Loved eating breakfast outside while deer just walked right up. Would definitely stay there again... I just hope he will have occupancy when we want to come out again. So accommodating and wished we stayed longer."

  • Something new, something fun, something special

"Our time at the country retreat in Kenwood was wonderful. The property was as beautiful as expected and the walks in the nearby vineyards were a surreal surprise. Every detail was considered. Our host put up a Christmas tree and filled the wood pile to the brim with excellent fire wood for the two stoves. Everything a person could image needing was available. What we really needed was a retreat from the world without cares or concerns and that is exactly what we received. Thank you Robert and family for allowing us to have your special home for our Christmas."

  • Perfect

"Our stay was absolutely everything we could have hoped for. The house was nice and clean and cozy. It was close to all the things and placed we needed to go and was used as a gathering place for our Families to meet, talk, enjoy each other and go on to other things. We would recommend this property to anyone who was coming to Petaluma or the surrounding Napa Valley that wanted a place to relax and unwind after a busy day."

  • Fantastic Family Vacation !!! Dillon Beach View House has it all !!!

"We came to California for a family wedding, and we were looking for a large house to accommodate our family. We were 7 adults and 3 children, ages 5, 3,and 1 years old. We had PLENTY of space. The house is spectacular. The pictures on the VRBO website are all accurate but cannot do it justice. You have to experience it to believe it. The views are amazing from every room--from the moment you wake up until the sunsets, and then you have the spectacular night sky with the hundreds of stars to enjoy. The house was very clean ,and was tested out by my crawling grandson , pants were clean after going from room to room not wanting to miss out on anything. There were so many special touches that made the home so unique. The craftsmanship of the woodwork and moldings in the house; the beautiful stained glass pieces and artwork throughout, even on the butler's pantry; the stonework on the fireplace; the lighting elements ; sink fixtures; nautical decorations throughout--the beauty was all in the extra details. Of course, the beds were very comfortable, the kids loved the bunkroom ( they got a little warm at night but the owners provided fans which worked perfectly );the kitchen was clean and very well stocked with all the necessities plus extras. The large dinning room table allowed us to share every meal together, and after a busy, fun day we could then all hang out together either upstairs or downstairs in the large gathering areas. We played games( we brought some, but there were some there); watched movies ( again supplied by the owners), and just sat around catching up. The house is very well located for everything we wanted to do. About 1 hour to 1 1/4 hour or so to Napa Valley and Sonoma; San Francisco( take the ferry from Sausilito - a beautiful area, great views, and no city parking hassles).;Armstrong Park with the Redwoods. But, don't forget the beach!!! Beautiful, and clean-- directly down the block is a narrow path to the beach, or just walk down Oceana Drive a bit and you're right there. The owners provided beach chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys for our use; again all the special details made us feel we were in our own home . The garage was large and clean, and when the cars aren't in, you can have a fun ping pong tournament on a full size table, as well as play foosball or pool on smaller tables. The property manager was very easy to correspond with; very attentive and very quick in responding to all our questions. Thank you, again."
