  • We just keep coming back!

"We have now stayed several times at this little cottage. It is adorable and our favorite in Sonoma County. This was our first winter stay and only for two nights. It was raining and a bit stormy. Lounging in the hot tub with a glass of wine was great. Due to the rain, we were not able to spend much time on the deck. We already knew the deck and BBQ were sheltered, but were pleasantly surprised to discover we could cook without getting wet. The cabin stayed quite toasty. While watching a DVD movie in the loft area (the first time in all of our trips we even turned on the TV) we even had to turn the heat down. The updates since our last stay are all great! We love this place. In closing, we are already looking forward to our summer stay!"

  • Affordable getaway tucked away in the woods

"I had never stayed in Guerneville prior to this trip. This is a bit of a bohemian community and Kathy and Jim's place is no exception. The cottage is tucked away under some redwood trees at the edge of their property. The unit is clean, furnishings are nice, and the bed was exceptional. While they live on the property as well (main house), I went two days without seeing a soul so it is quite private. There is a nice hot tub that is always "on" and I took advantage of that on a couple of nights. There are plenty of places to eat and drink locally. The weather in this area is exceptionally moderate; unlike Bodega Bay where I encountered gale force winds off the ocean. It is located in a residential community but it didn't feel like other homes were on top of me. There is plenty of off street parking. The location is away from the main street area of Guerneville by a mile or so; far enough to avoid traffic, crowds, and noise. Kathy and Jim are exceptionally nice people; available if needed but not intrusive. I envisioned that this property is where Neil Young would have lived had he not become rich and famous. The only issue I had was with the wifi; it is quite strong in some areas of the property but not very strong in the cottage. Also, if you have ATT cellular, don't plan on making any calls. Zero bars here and in much of Guerneville."

  • Missing it already

"I was lucky enough to spend my 40th birthday at the Four Sisters Farmhouse, and I can't wait to find a reason to go back! Our group of five was very impressed with the amenities and convenient location. The pool area really is beautiful. I snuck out there every chance I could get. In addition to this fabulous house, I would recommend Valley Wine Tours and dinner at Willi's in Healdsburg. Thank you so much!"

  • Family Bodega Trip

"This is our third stay at Bodega Harbour. It is my family's favorite Bodega house. Great views, access to the beach, and so clean, comfortable and well equipped. It has everything you could possibly need. There are unexpected extras that are much appreciated. The Tarca family has put so much TLC into this house. Looking forward to another stay next summer!"
